Bunnings Newstead is always such a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and I have always enjoyed coming here. Sometimes there is minimal stock or things have sold out but the team are happy to order it in or call other stores. Very happy shopping here.

I purchased these lovely plants from Bunnings Newstead. The weekends are when I tend to shop, and although so does everyone else, the waiting time to purchase is quick.

A mighty fine Bunnings, it's massive, split across two levels, had a great outdoor garden range, a fair amount of free parking all under cover but it does get busy. Staff have always been friendly and helpful here. I would even say it's my favorite Bunnings in the country!

Helpful staff who give thoughtful advice and assistance - especially Ruby. She made the frustration of returns a joy with her warm, endearing personality and competent ability. The store itself is two levels, well stocked, and accurately catalogued.

Go here with the kids all the time. Indoor playground next to cafe is perfect on a hot day. Good selection of food. Then we check out the garden area... really nice Bunnings.

Leesh from Bunnings Newstead is the most magical human. Leesh hosted the Easter decorating event on the weekend and my daughter Elle just felt so special the entire time. Absolutely will go out of our way to visit the Newstead store more often.

I wanted to buy a drill and had been looking at a Ryobi product on the Bunnings website. Due a recent buy at Bunnings where I received poor advice and was sold a plug which cost us an extra $100 because we had to call a plumber. I was hoping to get better advice this time. No one could be found in Aisle 26, or in any other aisle close by. I left with a pot plant and advice from the checkout girl to ask at the desk next time.
I came back the next day with my husband and duly asked at the front desk for someone who might help me with a Ryobi product. (My husband wandered off to explore.) She called to a salesperson near by and when I explained to him what I wanted, he looked at me blankly and muttered something unintelligible. Obviously didn't have a clue about drills. I gave up and went in search of my husband. On the way out (empty handed) we ran into Emily (merchandise) who helped us but suggested that Yuki in Toolshop might be of more help. And help us she did! She not only advised us on which product would be best for our needs, but sourced attachments for us, sometimes climbing a ladder to look in boxes when the product was not on the shelf. She could not have been more helpful and it is not an understatement to say she is an absolute gem. We left the store as happy customers.
Might we respectfully suggest that it would be to Bunnings advantage, considering how busy this store always is, to employ more staff. Hopefully more like Yuki. How many customers leave emptyhanded because they can't find what they want or can't get advice on a product?

The biggest Bunnings store I have ever seen! It has 2 floors & has everything you need to do any thing yourself! My girlfriend's returned a large clothes line for a medium one & we each bought a $2.85 potting mix & concrete to secure the clothes line! Very friendly service & very helpful!

At Bunnings Newstead there are lots of staff to help you find things and lots of outdoor products. I often come here to buy wood, seeds and more. I would really recommend Bunnings to people who like to make things or do outdoor activities.

We love Bunnings Newstead. It is our go to for all manner of things from the smallest hardware requirement to plants. They even cut some wood for us the other day.

One of the best Bunnings in Brisbane because it's still pretty new! Our dog @tokenoflove had thr best time exploring. There is such a range of everything including plants, building material, cleaning, storage and so much more. Staff are super friendly here too. There's even as escalator to get to the 2nd floor! Bathrooms are also located in the store.

a wonderful boy named Sam helped me pick out a door handle for my new study room. He gave me details and instructions on how to install my new door handle; I can tell how interested he was to help me out. His vast knowledge of door handles really inspired me to pursue a career in installing door handles for other people. Thank you Sam, may you be blessed with a wonderful and healthy future. Other than the squealing your tyres will make on the concrete car park, there is nothing wrong with this bunnings. Staff are helpful and friendlier than most. It's also a big boy being 2 stories.

A brand new branch only 5 weeks old. I love the new layout. An air conditioned, double storey facility with travelators taking you from two levels of parking below the store to the upper level. There is lot of natural light flooding in from clear glass on the upper level. It gives a lovely sense of airiness and volume. There's a cafe and a kids DIY workshop area with supervision. The nursery area is on the second floor with coloured sail type of awnings above. All the specialist areas are there, the paint area, the tools area, outdoor gear and living area, electrical, plumbing, etc. etc. Situated in the downtown area next to Breakfast Creek. Certainly worth a visit.

Great place but isles are spread in two floors, not like your typical Bunnings, which is on one floor. Staff are helpful and prices are very competitive.
