Mother's day 2024. Arrived at the restaurant without a booking (rookie mistake) but the staff (post checking the bookings) gave us a fantastic welcome.
The place has such good vibes and a great ambience. We ordered the slow cooked Moroccan lamb, roof bowl and toast with egg and bacon along with a flat white and a cap. Glad we came to this place and enjoyed such a treat. The food was absolutely delicious and 💯 recommended. We will definitely visit again. While leaving, left a note for the chef to know they are doing a fantastic job.

Lovely from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The wait staff, although young, really on the ball and ready to help. Delicious coffee and the food!!! So thankful this place is local so we can come back again and again. Only 1 small issue that the staff have no control over would be to add some soft furnishings to help with sound absorption. We found this great cafe through the Entertainment Book and had a lovely breakfast this morning. We both had the corn and zucchini fritters and added an extra egg. The eggs were perfectly poached and everything was delicious. Roof is dog friendly and our puppy had a great time watching people come and go. Highly recommended.

Roof Cafe Co is an excellent cafe in the Thornlands residential area. Review from a couple sittings.

Warmly greeted with engaging conversational staff and tasteful decor. There is a great selection of cakes and pastries, with nice meals from the kitchen. Coffee Supreme (if ya know, ya know).

Pretty quick service, I expect this will get a bit longer with busier weekends.

I was looking for something else on Google Maps when I saw this place come up during my search.
You know... sometimes, good things happen for a reason, and "Roof Cafe Co" is one of those good reasons.
I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning.
It's a new (ish) building and a really well set out cafe offering good choices for all those in search of some excellent cuisine.
Staff are friendly and greet you not with just a smile on their face, but also in their voice and body language. You can tell they like their job and what it is they do.
Then there is the food.... boy, can you see and taste the enjoyment of someone who loves what they do in that as well.
Beautifully presented... and even better to the palette.
Today we had the Eggs Benedict (with Salmon), the Breakfast Wrap, and Breakfast Tacos.
I can only speak on behalf of the Tacos, but the others loved the taste, the freshness and presentation of their food (the only issue I had was with the Eggs Benny... so big they had to put it on a huge plate and it makes it difficult to make it look photogenic for this review... but hey, the taste definitely made up for it... and hey, if that is the ONLY negative, you know you are on a good thing) 😜
Now... to the Taco's.
Well.... my mind was blown.
I would like to put how good they are, but there are not enough superlatives in the dictionary to do them justice, so just try them yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Did I like this place... No... I loved it and I will be back
Only regret I have now is that I didn't find this place sooner.

Dined with a friend for brunch on Saturday and we both were so impressed by our meals. I had the Vegan GF Avocado on toast, and hands down the plate had so much love and flavour poured into it, it seriously was the best. My companion also agrees her scrabbled eggs were amazing. Coffee was close to perfect and customer service exceptional. I just wished I lived closer, as this business shows that they care and love what they do. Thank you ! Can't wait to return soon

Can be very busy weekends...but from what I have seen ..weekday lunchtimes they need our support! We have to love these small businesses that are so wonderful

This is one of the best cafe's I've been to. We ordered Lamb 23 and Roof bowl which were so unique and so flavoursome. If I had the option to give more than 5 starts, I'd love to! The staff was extremely friendly too as we didn't book in for a busy mothers day and they were happy to squeeze us in. Worth a visit if you haven't already

Great cafe with excellent service. We came here for Mother’s Day and were really pleased with the service, speed of delivery and food. Everything was excellent value and all staff were polite and friendly. Will be coming here again!

Fine food or cakes and coffee complimented by an equally find atmosphere and ambiance.
You must attend this great place, mingle with the locals and visitors from afar.

Cute little cafe with very nice aesthetic, yummy treats including gluten free and vegan options, and excellent coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful, and cater well to my kid and toddler. Roof has a “stay as long as you like” kind of vibe and is often busy enough to have the hum of human connection in the air, but is well laid out so it never quite feels crowded. There are dog water bowls out front that are inviting for pawesome friends, and I appreciate the view of the greenery and decor alike.

Best local cafe by far. Ambient atmosphere, comfy seating, warm and welcoming service, generous and perfectly cooked eggs Benny on sourdough and a quality caramel tart. Excellent coffee. A delightful dining experience 👌
