Panorama Bistro

I was a little worried about the reviews before coming here, however they were only 4 reviews. The food was really good, the service was extremely nice and the view was fantastic. Not a fault. Yes the decor can do with a renovation but if you are here for a sunny lunch I highly recommend it! Some vegetarian options would be good though

We stopped here with a tour bus. Meals had been ordered ahead and were delivered upon arrival. Presentation great, delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful view.

Good service, good food and great view. More vegetarian options would be a bonus, but otherwise worth a visit!

Absolutely awesome. The service here is great and the staff are very friendly. We met the new owner Peter and shared a drink with him. Highly recommend

No menu on arrival, told us to sit at a table then tried to move us, Food was good but a little expensive

Nothing like being shamed immediately after asking for a “table for one” … and being told “you’re brave to dine alone”. God forbid I’m staying at the hotel and need somewhere to eat?
Must have asked the staff twice to switch the heating on outside before another guest decided to do it themselves.
Besides the location, you can find better places to eat and spend your money. The food was extremely average.

Not a single vegetarian option on the dinner menu, and when we asked if the kitchen might be able to offer any veg food we were offered a garden salad with parmesan.
Menu is much more limited than the one that is published online on the hotel website, which appears to be from a year ago.
The wait staff were very helpful, friendly and apologetic about the situation. Very good view over the harbour. Can't comment on the food itself as we decided to leave and find dinner elsewhere.

Very average food , went for thai menu and management dropped it of menu for good night we went, not very happy.
Had parmi very dry pre cooked more crumbs than chicken, orded chips and veg and served chips and salad. steak like microwaved not worth price .

Drinks overpriced.

Need to have a better menu if want people to return , we won't be!

This spot has huge potential, but it has been wasted here. The decor is dated and bland, the view is great, but the food…..I can honestly say, this is the worst meal I have had in a very long time. I had the ravioli, which was straight out of a pack, barely cooked and served with what tasted like jarred sauce. It was horrible. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but there needs to be change here.
While we were there, another lady complained about her meal and she was dismissed, after she left, as being a ‘regular’ who always complains, I think maybe she was on the money!

Yes, it is the same Bistro.
And, yes you have ravioli on your menu.

Very disappointing experience, ordered seafood platter, expecting great seafood considering the location, everything was so heavily battered, no fresh or grilled fish. They added seafood chowder as there were no oysters- the chowder was quite nice. The service was very slow, but staff did their best. The dessert was the chocolate fudge volcanos- all tasted shop bought not chef prepared. Overall very poor.
