Wow what a delicious brunch. I had smoked salmon omelette which was so full of Tassie salmon. It was the best brunch I've had for sometime. My wife had Green Eggs with Bacon, again delicious and the eggs cooked perfectly.

Lovely staff, great service and happy atmosphere!

Well done guys.

The finest brunch restaurant in St Helens, Tasmania. Not many shops around. Beautiful and tasty dishes. We really enjoyed The Lot, their big brekkie, and I got the baked beans which was nice as well. Coffee was a little bit too bitter, but the taste and smell was so unique. Beautiful shop and vintage decoration. Highly recommend.

As a travelling coffee snob, I usually struggle to find good coffee on arrival in a new town. Well The Lifebuoy saved me. After the first coffee I had no reason to look further. It gets better, as we had breakfast too and this was next level. Well done!! Great little gift and trinket shop too.

Divine!

Came here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Plenty of parking available and seats (inside or out)

Great service, friendly waitstaff.

Food was presented extremely well! The Bean Stack (pictured) was delicious and more mexican vibes than baked beans which was perfect.

The Mushroom bruschetta was also highly rated by my partner.

Highly recommended for a good breakfast spot.

Cappuccino didn't have much froth but was yummy

My family and I had a great breakfast here. Great service, food portions were huge and delicious. We got the lot, French toast, three egg omelette and toasties. The decor made the whole place feel so cozy. Definitely recommend to pop by if you’re in the area.

Very cozy little corner cafe with Delicious meals and very well portioned!! My partner and I enjoyed breakfast to the fullest! He had the Lot breakfast with tea and I had the green eggs with extra salmon and I was surprised of how much they gave me🫶, with a large almond mocha, both very filling and presented well. I hardly write reviews because my partner is very picky, and even though his beans were from the can, he really enjoyed his breakfast! Great value for money, Thank you 🫶

This cafe is by far the best in St. Helens! We entered quite close to the end of their trading hours, but were still welcomed and sat down to enjoy a very nice lunch. The waiters were super lovely, we even got to see a video of whales and some tips on how to spot them! The general atmosphere in the cafe was really happy and cosy. The food was delivered to us very quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The chef clearly knows what he was doing - we enjoyed every bite of it.
Café’s like this one make me sad I live on another continent than Australia. I would 100% come back if I could. So to anyone who is there now, I would say to go and enjoy the Lifebuoy Cafe.

Just a wonderful experience (again lol). Almost turned back towards the car as the place was packed out (for a Thursday at 10.30am!) But decided to give it a go- glad we did!! The service was wonderful (to the young gentleman who said we all only to to see him... lol... yes we do!!! ) The cappuccinos were spot on and the food was brought out within about 15-20mins which was outstanding! The presentation 👌 and the meal itself... my husband started stealing mine as well!! We'll most certainly be back before we leave on Sunday! So thank you

We chose this cafe from the google reviews and it did not disappoint. We came for breakfast. The menu had so many delicious options. I chose the Mushroom Bruschetta and it was absolutely delicious. I just loved the cosy and welcoming atmosphere and the gift shop as well. The staff were friendly and we could have stayed there a lot longer.

Absolutely gorgeous place, wish I was around longer to go back for another meal! I had breakfast here and the staff let me construct my own off the sides/extras section which not all places do!

Everything was delicious and well priced, not to mention the very generous serve of avocado!

The Green Eggs were one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I would highly recommend a stop for breakfast. Grab a table and order at the coffee bar.

What a scrumptious meal we had, made even better due to the perfectly cooked bacon🥓... crunchy and caramelised. So rare these days. The coffee was extremely good and the staff professional and friendly. I'm going back for more!

Stopped here on a super busy day. Good was perfect and service was great. The food came out really fast!
I had the pea and bacon soup which I would give 11/10 for if it were possible. Absolutely delicious!
Hubby had the blt which was super generous with so much bacon. It was a wonderful stop and we can’t wait to visit again.
I also purchased a gorgeous hand cream from the gift shop- which was also well stocked with beautiful bits and pieces.
