I highly recommend the oysters, and their gummy shark, although just about everything on the menu is really tasty! If you can't decide, go for a captain's box!

Can't wait to go there again!

Best fish and chips we have had in Australia! We went for the gemfish and it was melt-in-the-mouth delicacy. Will definitely go again when we are in the area. The -1 star was for the pack of sea gulls preying on our food.

We stopped here for fish and chips (2 families) and not one of us was disappointed. Quality of food was great. Definitely up there with the best fish and chips in Australia.

Great place to eat fish & chips. You can actually taste the beer in the batter although it was somewhat oily. Awesome chips and cool talking buzzer when your food is done. Decorate your food with whatever salt and even 2 types of vinegar, can't get that elsewhere! No shade in the public seating around the place though.

Amazing fish and chips! Also had some of the oysters there from Lease 65 oysters farm, yum! Fresh and plump delicious!

Definitely the best fish and chips on the east coast don't waste your time going anywhere else, super friendly staff I always get my fish crumbed it is amazing always so fresh and super tasty

On Sunday 3rd Dec, we ordered fish(flake) & chips for lunch. It’s the best Fish & Chips that we had. It’s is v fresh, tasty and thin battered. Great value for the quality of food!

Skippers has a well earned reputation for great fish & chips & they also serve a fabulous creamy seafood chowder with toasted ciabatta. We had trouble finishing all ours as all serves are very generous size. Blue Trevally & chips + a chowder $47.50 for the two of us

Perfect for a quick lunch if you’re passing through St Helen’s, we actually made a trip back from Bay of Fires to eat here again. The chowder, skippers pack and fish burger was the best we have had on our Tasmania trip so far! There are 3 benches to eat on outside, but plenty of places to perch on if these are full.

A delightful greeting by staff that welcome you aboard a boat like experience, crossing a short foot bridge over water and into the shop. Clean surroundings and friendly staff who served delicious tasty and fresh seafood. 1st time trying crayfish and I was not disappointed.

Some of the best fish and chips Ive ever had. We got the family feast plus extra scallops and pineapple fritters but they just threw in a few more for good measure. Perched right on Marine parade it was a marvelous view but FYI there's no seating inside, it's takeaway only really with limited tables outside. Be careful of the seagulls!
