Needed a last minute booking for one night and was really happy we found Eight Acres. From arrival to departure we just felt at home. The cabin we stayed in was wonderful and clean. It was fully self-contained and had everything you needed. The animals and playground got the attention of our son who spent most of our stay outside which we loved. Overall a fantastic stay and we will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay here. The Forrest Cottage was lovely and has a great view of the bird feeders.
The animal farm was lovely and the fresh eggs we collected were so yum! We will definitely be back the next time we are going to Lakes Entrance.

We only stayed a night but will definitely come back. The place had cozy vibes. Not too far from the main town. Plus they have animal which the kids can feed as well. Worth a stay with kids.

So lucky that we came across eight acres glamping!
My partner injured his foot so we had to cut our trip short to stay overnight.
Arrived late to the property and requested last minute check in.
Not only were Ellis and Pete generous to check us in they made sure that our stay was lovely.
Glamping tent was well equipped and beautiful to sleep in. The cozy communal facilities were a cherry on top.
And how fun is it to feed llamas and chicken!
Will recommend to all our friends, thank you both!

We totally loved this place on our roadtrip from Melbourne to Sydney. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We only had one night here. Everything is perfectly organised with eye for detail. You can see and feel the love the owners put into this place. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home.

I wish I could give more stars, hands down one of the best places I've stayed at for a staycation. Stayed the night with my husband and kiddies (3yo and 1yo) and was perfect! Owners are very friendly and super helpful even without it having a reception, easy, straight forward check in. Stayed in the Forest cottage and it was beautiful, clean and modern. Each cottage has a fire pit out front and had the best evening toasting marshmallows and sitting around the fire. Friendly farms animals on site with daily 9am feeding and playground on-site. Would be great in the warmer months with a pool and lounging area with lawn games. So sad we didn't stay another night but we'll definitely be staying in the future!!

Our time at Eight Acres was the first time we did Glamping & I have to say that our standards are now high!
An amazing camp, with all the essential amenities, the surrounding grounds are beautiful & the animals are soooooo cute!
We will definitely be back & hopefully convince our Teenagers to tag along!
A wonderful place to disconnect & just be!
Thank you Pete & Ellis xxx

Eight Acres offers so much more than just a place to stay it was a whole experience. Feeding the farm animals, collecting fresh eggs, feeding the parrots from the cottage deck, swimming in the pool and playing on the playground were all such a hit with the kids (and the adults), the fire pit at the front of the cottage really topped it off. Ellis and Pete were incredibly accommodating and the cottages were immaculate. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to return one day soon.

My daughter recently had her wedding at Eight Acres and what an incredible experience. The hosts were so accommodating around everything we needed and the venue looked amazing when we arrived.
The belle tents were beautifully appointed and the beds were super comfy. The shower in the pool house was wonderful. We loved the pool house. It was a great building to get wedding ready. Thank you to the team at Eight Acres

Stayed at this beautiful property a few weeks ago with my two children and we had the best time. It’s a beautiful property with farm animals, playground, swimming pool, beautiful private cottages, and feeling like we have forgotten the world. We only had one night as booked in the last min, which is a shame but looking forward to being back when in Vic again!

We stayed here Monday-Wednesday 19th April-21st, a couple with our 4 year old daughter. We were so lucky to have bright sunny days! first impressions driving in to the property were, 'OMG this place is amazing!!!!" and the Anchorage Cottage did not disappoint. It was fully equipped and so comfy. We lit a fire each evening and strongly recommend taking marshmallows to toast with you. The farm animals are soooo cute and my daughter (and I) absolutely loved feeding them, Winter the goat was adorable. as locals to East Gippsland we felt like we were on a holiday, even though we were 30 minutes from home.
we had the best holiday there and didn't want to leave!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I had an overnight stay (respite) with my support worker Ben. We stayed at the Farm Cottage, which as the name suggests has a hobby farm next door containing a bull, goats, chickens and llamas. The cottage contains two bedrooms, a living area, kitchenette, bathroom, shower, toliet and front varandah with outdoor dining table. Eight Acres is a beautiful place to stay and I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to stay there as an NDIS participant. It's only a 10 minute drive from the Lakes Entrance township and is located in a remote bushland area. I really enjoyed my stay here. I'd highly recommend this accommodation for a weekend, overnight stay or a wedding function.

We really enjoyed our weekend away at Eight Acres. Our glamping tent was so well set up and comfortable, and it was great fun to feed the animals in the morning. Pete and Ellis were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed, including some advice for local spots to check out. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away, and will be back!

Thanks again to Peter and Alice for a wonderful stay.
We loved our cottage, the setting is beautiful and so relaxing, it's a real return to peace and nature
The children were happy every morning to feed the animals, and to come back with fresh eggs.
The cottage was sublime and so perfect, clean, practical and tastefully decorated. It was perfect.
Thank you again for this paradise, we will be back with pleasure.

Stayed for 4 nights with my wife and 2 young boys. Had a fantastic time. Cottage is clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool, playground, games area and roasting Marshmallows in our own firepit! Highlight was most definitely waking up every morning to feed the animals and collecting the eggs. Thanks for a great stay Pete and Ellis. Will definitely be back!

Amazing location we reached at 9pm when it was dark and the led rope lights were on and the whole place looked so magical like we're all alone in the woods.
Friendly staff, interactive activities for kids, personal firepits, self contained kitchens, animal feeding. Only thing i found was there was no replenishment of milk for the two nights we stayed. (200mL supplied) and towels weren't changed next day but leaving those minor things aside, we would definitely recommend this place and visit again in the future.
