Moore Free overnight camp

The Moore Free Overnight camp is one of the best spots yet! The lovely little town of Moore home to the great Brisbane Valley trail, one of the longest trails here in Queensland, offers not only a free overnight camp for travellers. They have toilets, a playground, basketball and even a free electricity plug in! There are only two plugs offered so first come first serve or people can share just ask and have with you an extension. The free camp is on grass,which is well kept. The covered playground is great for the kids to keep busy and toilets are clean and well stocked. They offer water on tap in camp although not potable. There are several seating areas in the area, bins everywhere and a BBQ grill. Right across the camp are 3 cafes that offer several food and drinks, free bike parking and free water with purchase of goods. Although quaint and quiet, Moore offers a huge gift to travellers on her roads. Thank you Moore, we appreciate your hospitality and generosity.

Clean facilities

sadly to say,the grassed camping spots & the free electricity has gone.have to go to linville just up the road to park .the linvillecamping area is almost always full now with the closure of the moore camping area.
