The Cove

Phenomenal experience, right down to the music. The owners are so accommodating and friendly and the food is reasonably priced and damn delicious. VERY good options for vegan (even marshmallows!) on top of an already stellar menu offering. And can we talk about the dinosaur mug? Perfection.👏

A great little cafe. Edwin is the new management, and he was a great bloke who genuinely wants to do something really good there. It's a great location, right on the water, and just a short walk from the actual beach. The food was really good and not expensive, which is good given that I have 4 kids. Young fella behind the counter was all over it and got us sorted nice and quick.

We really enjoy Lakes as a destination to visit, and it's great to see this cafe open and ready to go.

I'll preface this by saying I'm a bit biased as my parents run the place, but if you get the chance, drop in for a bite to eat.

The food is awesome and reasonably priced, which is a massive issue for us as we're a family of 7. I was in there the other day, and a elderly woman said the fish and chips "were heaven."

The Cove is right on the beach, as you can see from some of the photos people have posted. You can sit in the sun, lay and sit on a picnic mat under the trees, or use the umbrellas for some shade. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing with the gentle breeze and sound of water. Two minutes (if you're taking your time) behind The Cove is the proper beach with some stunning views.

Those working there are great, polite, great senses of humour (which my sons get from me), and they know their job.

Do yourselves a favour and try out The Cove in Lakes Entrance. I promise you, you'll be glad you did.

Awesome new cafe overlooking the water. Heaps of options for the whole family.
I tried the vegan egg and bacon and it was the best egg and bacon I’ve had anywhere. We had some tasty iced biscoff and matcha drinks too.
We will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience, went there with family of small kids of daughter 7yo and son 1.5 yo, all of us loved the environment, by the beach got kids activities outside, offering shade under the trees, with vegan options for food and Halal Ice creams, owner ED was so friendly, and help us with checking the boxes of ice cream with Halal stamp, overall it was a perfect spot for family looking for halal food and fun at Lake Entrance.

I’m absolutely blown away by their vegan menu, I barely even know a place in Melbourne and Sydney that has so many cool vegan options. They have all kinds of vegan meats (chicken nuggets, beef patties, hot dogs), as well as vegan cheese and shakes with vegan ice cream and whipped cream. And they sell kresho bars! I wish I had known about this place when I visited lake entrance last year. Thanks so much for these options ♥

You have to walk there over a foot bridge which is lovely too, so you have water views, lots of birds around. Service was friendly too 🥰

What a lovely no fuss place to sit and watch the sea and eat the most delicious food !!! Unfortunately we discovered it day before we left to come home . But we are sooo absolutely coming back every day next time we come here. Highly recommend the burger … my goodness.. reasonably priced but beautifully presented and the taste sent out taste buds wild with pleasure!!

A lovely spot to enjoy a burger and iced coffee after a walk along the beach. The food was good and the service great.

Had a beautiful breakfast here with my wife, they had awesome bacon and egg rolls, and also heaps of great vegan options for my wife. The staff are lovely too

Ich habe den Milchshake "Spanische Inquisition" probiert. Ich liebte es! Der Geschmack ist super und auch die Kombi von süß und herzhaft hat gestimmt. Der Shake kostete 17 AUD, was für mich etwas teuer erscheint. Die Tische werden leider auch nicht permanent abgeräumt, da der Besucherandrang sehr hoch ist. Dafür entschädigt die tolle Aussicht.

Please look at renaming one of the "breakfast bazinga" smoothies. Ordered the one containing fruit juice and sorbet, but received the other one. Was told by the employee present that it was a "spelling mistake on their part." Smoothie was good but disappointed that product received was not what was expected.

Dreadful service today. So slow. Out of order.we got one egg and bacon roll. Half hour later got the other one. Still had to wait another half hour for our cups of tea.
