Just had an awesome weekend at Budderoo. The views are stunning, we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. The open floor plan with the floor to ceiling glass makes this place feel like it’s part of the environment. Whilst we did not need the fireplace, I imagine this would be great in winter as there is also an outdoor fire setting.

The kitchen was well stocked and there are all the pantry staples. Great to see a high quality coffee machine and a soda stream.

The grounds are rustic and include some interesting garden art as well an outdoor bath and an outdoor shower, both with hot water plumbed in. If you visit this place, you must try one!

We had a great time with our friends and the only complaint was having to leave the place!

Loved this place. Nestled into the side of the hill with great views of the valley. We had a wonderful long weekend away. Especially loved the outdoor shower (indoor one as well) and rustic country weekender charm. Thank you, we’ll be back!

This place is amazing. Not only is the setting and the view beautiful, the house itself is stunning. Very peaceful. And the kitchen has literally EVERYTHING.

Outstanding views, big retreat house size. i gave 2 stars because one the most important things when you want to enjoy your holidays its spending a relaxing time in a clean place... and this fantastic retreat house it wasnt clean at all. Before make bookings , check the reviews and good mone for value relations....

Just checked into Budderoo 156A for our long awaited family trip.

The Airbnb review showed stunning photos of the view and living spaces, and whilst the view was stunning in person on closer inspection the standard was quite disappointing. I would even say I regret booking the accommodation.

Freezer was over frosted with stinky ice cubes and broken ice cube freezers. Dead flies were in the cupboards seemingly uncleaned for weeks, and the sofa whilst nice from afar had animal hair all over it. Advertised hot tub was broken and not usable , not sure why they even advertised it. Everything was just dirty. was it even cleaned? The place smells like dog with evidence of dog fur everywhere. We rolled up the kitchen mat so no one would trip over it.

Photos were misleading showing only living room , not bedroom or shower spaces. Not the quality you expect for a getaway bedroom. Bathroom and showers resemble a D.I.Y job outside someone's backyard.

Overall, 1 star because it has a view. For the cost, absolutely not worth it. Find another accommodation because kangaroo valley has a lot to offer, just don't let it be tainted by a frustrating and unpleasant stay. Unfortunately we have 2 more nights here, and paid a regrettable price for it. Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle.
