Lovely staff, who take the time to explain and prepare a made-to-measure sharing board. Excellent value for money. Very pleasant terrace. The truffle cheese is incredible. In short, if you're passing through Kangaroo Valley, this is the place to have a Lunch!

Amazing!!! Went in early for a coffee and decided to get a cheesecake. Best cheesecake I have ever eaten. The coffee was nice and strong. Will definitely come again. Oh yes... the staff are friendly too. Nice warm atmosphere. Got there early before the tourists. Going to work happy today.

This place was awesome and we got to try a bunch of really wholesome, rustic food that was just delicious. The staff were warm and engaging, the place was clean and open. The pumpkin soup was divine, the croque Monsieur was delicious and the scotch egg was a revelation. Stop in here!

The best cafe in Kangaroo Valley with great coffee and delicious treats. Then to top it off it is an excellent deli and even a cooking school!

Excellent food and coffee...difficult to use a more accurate superlative. Muffin was perfectly soft and scrumptious; not dry as is often the case. Bircher muesli was easily the best I've ever tasted. It's obvious that these guys have a very high attention to detail.

We had a very enjoyable meal with lovely friendly staff who were very helpful and eager to fetch refills etc. The almond croissant will change your life and your waist line. Not really a beer-type place but they did have a few craft options.

Really good place really enjoyed the coffee the atmosphere was fantastic very very very friendly staff great facilities the price was a bit on the expensive side but you know what it’s a small town it’s fantastic I would love to keep it going so happy we went there address that place highly recommended thank you so much for the amazing food and coffee

We stopped for a coffee and snack. The coffees were fantastic and we shared a toasted sandwich which was also great with plenty of filling.

Best surprise ever. Was in between jobs and bumped into this place. Legitimately a delicious experience. What a dream, sitting eating the Chicken Liver Parfait with Spiced Cherry Butter whilst reading the actual recipe from the actual chef's cookbook.. it's the best one I've ever had. Yes the Michelin Starred chef here just released his recipes book. This is worth a trip to Kangaroo Valley just for this!

Honestly... these croissants deserve a cult following! We visited about 3 months ago and I still can’t get it out of my mind. Puts all the other croissants in Australia to shame! ☺ This is a MUST experience in Kangaroo Valley!

My husband and I stopped in kangaroo valley as we were passing through on a roadtrip. We walked by Hampden deli and seeing the "school" aspect of the place got curious. My husband is a chef and I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry so curiosity was there. We met Stevie at the counter who was absolutely lovely. Full of arrogance, I go ahead and order the flight of coffee's not realizing they had already been 10 min closed. So embarrassing. But Stevie rang us up and was so welcoming about it! She then made us a flight of the most amazing coffees we've had. Just so perfectly made with such a welcoming environment. My husband had a massive chat with her about her and her husbands experiences in the industry and his own. It was just overall the best. The food and charcuterie looked amazing (we just werent hungry and let's face it, already rude enough in ordering after they were closed). Looking through their experiences her and Nick seem to be doing such amazing things and it's so awesome that they are sharing those experiences (and their expertise) with others in a teaching experiences through the classes they offer. Thank you so much for such great conversation and coffee!

Lovely young man who knows how to make a perfect cup of coffee. Unfortunately I was only passing through today and didn't have time to stop for longer but will be back for deli items and a long lunch.

Lovely staff and delicious food + coffee! One of the best toasties I’ve ever had, plus the alternative milks are perfectly done in each coffee. I will be back!
