Kangaroo Valley Bakehouse

Stopped by here on our way to Jervis Bay to try the pies. It does not dissappoint. The pies is really tasty. Most of the pies are $8.50.
We tried Pepper Steak, Chunky Steak & Chicken Mushroom.

I like the Chunky Steak because the meat is really chunky. Really satisfied.

The town is cute. little and quite. Feels like outback but a friendly little town

Going through Kangaroo Valley we stopped for a late lunch. The chunky beef pie was the best ever - good flavour, moist meat, lots gravy, very full. My friend visiting from UK was very impressed.

I stopped in during a drive out to Kangaroo Valley, and the pies here are delicious. The meat is tender, succulent and rich with flavour. I also have to compliment their team on the customer service: welcoming and kind.

Well I’ve eaten a few dogs eyes with dead horse in my time but this place would certainly be up there in the top 5. Great selection and plenty of variety of pies on offer. From your traditional plain steak to a Ned Kelly gourmet pie. A few cakes on offer which also looked pretty good. Decided to go the chilli beef - had plenty of veggies and meat in the filling and pastry was nice and fresh and crispy.

Lovely little bakery on the main shopping strip of Kangaroo Valley shopping centre. Vanilla slice was a standout with amazing custard and flaky pastry. Also tried the chunky steak pie with generous servings of beef. Some outdoor seating.

After a long day in the pouring rain, we had missed the cafes lunch option but KV bakehouse was our rescue! Delicious pepper steak and chilli cheese pies, flakey pastry and big chunks of meat, very satisfied. Grabbed a Lemon meringue and Vanilla slice for later and we also not disappointed. Thank you!

The pies are delicious, the crust has a wee bit of a crunch, the filling is well balanced and holds it's shape. I tried the chicken and leek pie, and vanilla slice, it's perfect looking in-store, mine has travelled a bit. The vanilla slice is delicious, a seemingly simple dessert done well. Flakey pastry with a fresh cream vanilla custard that holds it's shape well. Caramel slice was a bit too sweet and I didn't enjoy the grainy texture I'm so happy to have come across this bakery. One of the food highlights of my trip. The staff were really friendly and polite.

Love the chicken pie! It’s the most delicious one! Apple strudel also very nice:)

Stopped for a nice lunch here and did not disappoint! Sweet chili chicken wrap was tasty and great value as part of a pack with ample chips and a drink. Staff were friendly.

Exceptional customerservicefrom Ross and the tea., exquisite Pastries. To die for lamb pies, vanilla slice and apple turnovers. Well worth a trip to KVal to sample this deliciousness.

This place was super busy, however staff did a great job to serve food on time.
Chicken pami burger was so good. Fries were fantastic with the very tasty dip. Coffee is good too.

Best pies and pastries in town and some of the best I've ever had. Coffee is also awesome. Chunky beef pie is the bomb and apple turnover delicious. The pastry made here is heaven. You can sit inside or out. Staff are friendly and up for a joke. Great little business. See you next bike ride.

Could not fault them. Had a chunky Steak & pepper steak, both great! Will be back for sure!

Stopped in today for a coffee and a pie. The beef stroganoff pie was absolutely delicious, coffee was great too. Friendly staff and lovely gift items to look at while your coffee is being made.
I'll definitely be back.

Seriously the best pies I drive 3hours just to get one

Came in this afternoon to buy my usual sausage roll & you’d run out , not surprising seeing as they are the best around , so I tried a plain pie , the pie was easily the best I’ve had in years ,, so now my dilemma is do I get a pie or a sausage roll , decisions decisions !!, keep up the good work guys , oh and the coffee is great too 👍😀

My sisters and I went to the bakery last weekend (25/26 June) where we were served by the super friendly Ross. The pies and cakes are the best I’ve ever had! The pies were so good, we went back Sunday to buy some to bring home. Everyone should go there when visiting K Valley, it’s a must! Ross was brilliant, we had many laughs! From the five crazy sisters!

Very very nice pies. I’ve tried many of their variations, but i love the chilli beef the most. Apple turnover was so good as well. Staffs are super friendly.

We were on a road trip to her is bay and opted to stop in kangaroo valley for lunch. i was perfectly fine eating a sandwich from a place down the road but my MIL was very insistent that we got a pie from here because she had one a long time ago and remembered they were really good. well. am i glad we got pies.
i’m from canada and when i hear pie i think cherry, apple, peach, not curry beef, steak and mushroom. when we got there it was kind of late in the day so there weren’t all the options left, but i had my eye on the chicken and leek and i was in luck. it was love at first bite. the pastry was buttery and light and not too oily. the filling was AMAZING. it was warm, it was savoury, salty, all good things. it’s been a few days and i am eagerly awaiting another trip to get a pie. my MIL offered to get me a second one before we continued on to the beach and i reluctantly said NO. it was a mistake. i’ve been thinking about that pie nonstop since. i will definitely be getting more than one next time.
