Beautiful pier. Came here on windy cold day to drop a few lines, but only caught banjo's and a puffer fish.

One of the better piers in the area for sure! Pier is quite long with some great views of the other cliff side part of the entrance to Port Phillip. There's a small beach area nearby and the water is quite full of fish and calamari, with a few fisherman scattered along the pier. Definitely worth visiting simply for the views across the water!

This is such a gorgeous ‘all season’ Pier. Located centrally in Queenscliff, it has good access from the large carpark. Note this is also where the toilets are.
Popular with anglers, you’ll find people either in the shelter on a windy day with their rods out in the water or on their little deck chair watching their lines.
Popular with kids as a place to leap off the end of the pier (which does annoy some people who are fishing) its a gorgeous place to come and visit.
Wheelchair friendly. Close to shops for food and refreshments.
Interesting information boards line the pier with some history of the area. Well worth a read.

Love coming here with my little family. The pier is huge and we always see people fishing. The water’s great for swimming. Soft sand. Toilets and parking are close by as well.

Everyone loves a stroll along a historic pier, and this ones is beauty, complete with historic life boat station, and covered all weather covered passenger shed, as the pier Was once the Queenscliff terminus for the steamers coming down from Melbourne. Just to make things even better, the fishing good, the beach is really lovely (be careful of the tidal stream, it's strong), with views across Port Philip Heads to Point Nepean.

Awesome pier and great place to fish lots of regulars frequent this spot. Heard there is some good squid fishing here. Also the boarding point for some dive charters. There are large shelters there so if you need to escape the sun there is also a nice area to sit and chill.

Beautiful views from the beach of this pier and structures and point Nepean and Portsea on the other side of the bay.
Sit to the left on the pier as there are areas of grass and sand together for more comfort if having a picnic
Honestly just gorgeous and nice large beach area so plenty of space. Plus well located to walk over to visit the harbour and check out the shops, more views and more water 😁

Been here few times for fishing. Never disappointed. Recommend avoiding it during the weekends and public holidays if you are planning to fish close to the ferry station and boats dock.

I have been there many times. ome of the fish that we got are: flathead, mullet (during summer only), king george whiting (not so often), australian salmon (a lot of them, and the min size is only 21cm), garfish, and crabs. A saw some people caught squids too.

Sometimes we go home with empty bucket, but we always get a fish (some of them are returned). There are many distractor fish here such as toadfish (too many perhaps) and guitarshark.

Nice peaceful place to watch the world go by. Fisherman fishing, families playing. What not to like about a beach and a pier. It's close proximity to queenscliff for shops, cafés, restaurants, gift shops. Also close to the ferry for trips over to Sorrento.

I was posted to the Fort 1969-71. History of the Fort is greatly interesting. Local township very friendly.

On a cold, winters day, there is much beauty to be found on the beach of Queenscliff near the pier. From a perfectly presented, colourful stray piece of seaweed to the seagulls soaring in the air.
