Sea Lake Caravan Park

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We were fortunate enough to be here Easter Sunday and enjoy the hospitality of Nel. My son was provided an Easter present and we were privileged to participate in a camp oven experience with Easter egg damper and camp fire ice cream. Nel was a true gem and deserves recognition for the wonderful work she does at the caravan park. The amenities were clean and well kept. The location is also wonderful for a trip to the local pub for a delicious dinner.

Had a lovely 3 day stop over. Loved Mel and her right hand women Charlie and Ruby. They could not have made us feel more welcome. They put on happy hour for all the campers to get together it was fantastic. The whole park is kept lovely and clean, price very reasonable at $25.00 A night. Could not have been happier with our stay. Thanks girls, Alastair and I will stay again next time we are up your way.

Nel was a super friendly and accommodating host who was well organised on this busy weekend. We travelled with two dogs and Nel placed us far away from other dogs so everyone had their own space 👌 The caravan sites are unmarked which means you can park a good distance away from others.

There are two entrance options to the Sea Lake Caravan Park, the main one from A79 (next to public toilets at the Travellers Rest), the other via the back (15 Best St).
The travellers rest and caravan park are joined/appear to be on the same land.

The office and facilities are located far back on the property if you enter via the main entrance, not the easiest to find. The buildings and amenities are old but clean. They have EFTPOS facilities in the office if you don't have cash to pay for a site.

Nel even opened a staff kitchen/seating area for us to use as the facilities were busy with quite a few campervans/tents staying on the property.

Melb Cup weekend is a very busy time due to optimal star gazing conditions, keep that in mind if planning to visit lake Tyrell at night.

Sea Lake town was surprisingly larger than expected. Quite a cute town to walk around and explore. Only one restaurant/pub in town (must book ahead on weekends), a small Foodworks for supplies, but I recommend stocking up before you arrive.

Perfect spot for a few nights stay. Close to Lake tyrrell and other lakes. Nel, the caretaker is a gem. So clean and tidy all the amenities, great kitchen and even free pizza on Friday night 😍. $25 powered site 👌 Great little township and plenty of food choices. Very “country”. Pretty basic, but safe, quiet, a good place to stop. Mainly gravel sites, power and water sites available ($25/night,2 adults; unpowered ($15/night). Older style toilets, and nice hot showers with good pressure. A large camp kitchen. Convenient 600m walk to everything in town: cafes, chemist, supermarket, op shop, gift shops, galleries,

Very small caravan park, older amenities, but 1st class cleanliness and 1st class friendliness. Camp kitchen meets all ur needs. It's very close to the main street, walking distance. Great stop over location. Must see attractions nearby, Lake Tyrrell.

Perfect central location and well kept facilities. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very reasonable rates. Will stay here again.

Nel the caretaker made things super easy for us.. will definitely be back again for another stay.

Nel is the park manager who is a wonderful host. We had a fabulous camp fire complete with 4 dampers, one gluten and one gluten free savoury cheese, bacon and chives, and again one gluten and another gluteen free sweet damper with marshmallows, chocolate and crushed malt biscuits. Delicious. Along with community created around the camp fire. Clean little park with amazing service. A obe minute walk to town where the pub is fabulous and the meals amazing. Alsi a good Foodworks with good hit food. Great stop for 4 nights. Thanks Nel and family.

Clean and well stocked 2yr old amenities.
Welcoming & professional staff. We appreciated being given a lake view site. Lots of Birdlife, Lambchop the sheep and lots of rabbits eating the green grass overnight.

Stay one night, good camp kitchen. Very good price.
