Eight of us stopped in for some lunch at The Goat Shed at 1:20pm. Knowing that the cafe closed at 2pm, we thought that we’d at least have a quick drink just to check the place out. Not only could we order from the lunch menu, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and owner. I had the best veggie burger that I’ve had the pleasure to eat, whilst the other meals ranged from goat burgers, to bratwurst hotdogs, to bacon and egg roll. You could choose from smoothies, soft drinks, coffee, and alcoholic drinks. A great little business that I’m sure we’ll visit again when we’re out Samford way.

I found this little place by accident, and I can't wait to go back. Very friendly owners and chill vibes. Great music and views for a quiet beer or coffee.
They are building a little hooves area, which will be great for little kids to visit (will be ready by end of 2023).

Dropped in as I was riding past and had the owner Steve come up for a chat. Absolute character of a bloke, LOVES his bikes! Great to see he has a vision and big plans for the business, looking forward to popping in from time to time to see how it’s all going

Growing new motorcycle friendly coffee shop along Samford Road. Was a great stop on the way back down from Mt. Glorious this cold morning for a tasty hot coffee. Owner was friendly and keen to share his plans to grow and expand.

I drove past this cafe on the way to a job (I’m not from this area) during a week day and thought “that’s looks interesting” so I detoured on the way back and dropped in. Beautiful spot, very quirky yet tranquil, set up in the bush. Very friendly service by Ingrid, the owner of the cafe, made me feel very valued and at home. Bought a coffee and a cheese toasty, very very nice, coffee was the perfect taste and temperature, the toasty was delicious with a bonus orange sliced up to finish!! It was a very pleasant experience, thank you so much! I’m glad I stopped here, happy to support local business…see you next time I’m
coming through 😎👍

An amazing quaint Cafe. Cool memorabilia. Chickens and ducks roaming around and two wonderful playful pups. Friendly owners happy to have a chat. On the banks of a beautiful running creek. Don't pass it by. ❤

My partner and I popped in there after a morning walk in Samford Valley this morning for coffee. I can't vote too much for food in general as we had just a burger which was very nice and juicy. However, we really enjoyed the rustic style of the cafeteria and the welcoming atmosphere. Not often you see an owner who brings a complimentary plate of cut orange, pulls up a chair and sits down at your table for a chat.
We will definitely come back again. Maybe for the cheese and bacon fries with homemade alioli 🙂

Rode out with a crew. Was a really cool venue! Water in the South Pine river flowing through the property. Total Zen. Ingrid was a gracious host. Food was awesome. The Chef is a magician. And Corona with lemon and Orange? Very cool vibe. We are bringing a big crew out for christmas. Music and lifestyle videos!!! Hayabusa Dog! Super. Thanks guys.

Had a early morning coffee at the Goat Shed Cafe and had the pleasure of drinking it around an open fire with the birds going off, Wow I felt human again, what a great way to start the day.
Also had a laugh with the owner who is a real character and has big plans for the place, can’t wait to ride my bike back for a beer, Top Spot!
Thanks Goat 🐐 👍

A tried the coffee out for the first time on Saturday and it was great. Even bought a bag of beans. Service was fast and friendly by Lulu. I got to do a test run on a croissant and it tasted fantastic. Can't wait for the final build to be completed. Makes for a nice drive.

Stopped into The Goat Shed Cafe last Sunday with the family whilst we were passing through the Samford area and was pleasantly surprised with the standard of service offered at the cafe, although not 100% completed construction the cafe offered a relaxed atmosphere to sit while enjoying a great tasting coffee and hot chocolates for the kids as well as some lovely tasting snacks (cakes etc).
The gracious host/owner Steve introduced himself to us and while we were enjoying our drinks he enlightened us to the benefits of visiting Samford and the surrounding areas.
I am a member of a couple of social motorcycle groups and I definitely will be organising some group rides to the area and look forward to dropping into the Goat Shed Cafe once again to enjoy their lovely coffee, food and hospitality.

Rolled into the goat shed after a lap over the mountain.
Enjoyed some late morning refreshments in the undercover seating area.
Very friendly staff and well priced.
Met some old acquaintances whilst there and had a good old chat.
Will be back soon.

This is what I imagine a proper true blue Aussie cafe to be, Great wholesome food and at a fantastic price, coffee to rival Brisbane's best, friendly and chatty staff, fantastic patriotic yet down to earth decor. Definitely a new favorite for a Saturday meet up.
