We had a lovely breakfast at this lovely cafe.

I got the BLT and a small cappuccino, the bun was toasted to perfection and the bacon was so crispy. The coffee was so creamy and had the exact amount of froth it is supposed to have. Absolute amazing experience.

Beautiful old Cafe with lots of charm, and delicious food. We both order crumbed fish and jalapeno burger. It was a great combo cooked beautifully and tasted delish! 😋

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time and great coffee. Even if I don’t stay at Macksville I’ll be taking a detour off the highway for their breakfast.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob - always expecting the worst from some out of the way place.
I was so wrong - really excellent coffee (I have it black, and I know milk can really change things, so I'm only commenting on black).
Original decor, so cool! Being a total nerd, check out the hidden-nailing floorboards - you will NEVER see craftsmanship like that again.
Definitely worth a visit.

Travelling to Sydney we stopped off this morning for breakfast and so pleased we did! Awesome coffee, delicious bacon and eggs for me and the Big Jim’s Breaky for my husband. The house made tomato relish is superb! Great food and super friendly service .. doesn’t get any better.

I love the timber booths and the original features. The cafe is further enhanced by smart modern and on trend Renos. The coffee is excellent, well made, nicely infused and structured. Staff are pleasant.
Friends had traditional breakfasts that were nicely presented and made with excellent products and produce. It's a great cafe!

Great place for breakfast and coffee. Stopped here on our way back from Grassy Head. Great customer service, super good food, yummy coffee. The customer service is excellent. Bathroom’s are in the back, so you have to walk through the kitchen. Really clean kitchen and very cool backyard area! Really loved this place.

The food here is excellent. Interesting, really tasty and well executed. Every meal is great, every time. Good coffee and a nice vibe.

Amazing hot chips and the mangrove Jack fish burger was delicious, it's definitely worth a visit for lunch . We sat on the River bank under the big trees which was a nice break from our drive up the coast

Awesome local cafe with refreshed vintage feel. Definitely worth the detour off the Pacific Highway as plenty of parking along the river. Easy to get back to the highway going either direction also which was very handy. Highly recommend

A busy cafe in the heart of Macksville with an outlook onto the river, serving beautifully presented and delicious food with the serving size generous and the whole experience great and good value. My husband and I both had the jalapeno fish burger which was huge and yum. We'll be back for more!

Very delicious breakfast with an original serving and professionally made coffee. The place is decorated as an old-style milk bar. We were happy to find it on our way to Byron

Been here before a few years back as a visitor to the area and enjoyed a family meal.
Now I'm a local and visited with a friend this week for brunch.
3 of us all ordered different things and cleaned our plates. Food was excellent, quality ingredients and very tasty. The place was busy and deservedly so in my opinion. Comfortable and clean. It's location on the riverside lends itself to an easy flat walk around this neat little town with easy access to return to motorway North or South if you are passing this way.
I really enjoyed the meal.

Excellent food… really top notch.. and beautifully restored art deco fittings.
