We called just before closing as we had broken down while towing our caravan. Karen was amazing, got us a site and left the instructions in the night time mail box. Luckily we got running again and made it to the park. We found it to be clean, very well appointed and the showers where hot.

We came in late so didn't get to use the kitchen but from what I could see its a very good space that a bunch of people can use at the same time.

Look forward to coming back for a holiday.

Absolutely lovely park. Receptionists were friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Cabin was clean and was what I expected. Pool is amazing, one of the best camp kitchens I have seen.
We will be back with our van

Fantastic site with great amenities, and super friendly staff. Will be back for sure! The unpowered tent sites are not shaded so do bear that in mind. Really enjoyed the pool and the giant chess, there's a putt putt golf as well! Kitchen and outside bbq are great, showers and toilets are really nice as well. 100% recommended!

Great location, right on the Nambucca River. The park even has its own pontoon on the river. Perfect for a spot of fishing and the park has a friendly vibe. 😃👍

We stayed here for 3 nights in January 2020. Great, friendly service. Such a lovely serene park, lots of space to walk our dogs and give them a play. The pool was great, and there were plenty of lounges and chairs. Facilities, whilst a little dated, were clean - we mainly used the pool amenities which had dual shower heads, making showering our boys easy! We hired a stand up paddleboard and paddled on the Nambucca River- great experience. A great stay in a peaceful park - we will be back!

We stayed at numbucva river tourist park with a very large group over Easter holidays and we couldn't speak highly enough of this park, we have alot of children and the park was perfect for a Easter getaway. The amenities were always clean and there are two incase one was closed for cleaning, everything was in arms reach so the children could go and play whilst we sat by our site and watched there are ample amount of activities for kids like FREE putt putt, lawn bowls, chess, swimming pool, play ground, games room and more. It was just taken over by new owners but reception was so accommodating and friendly, we had Karen looking after us and she helped with every request we made! So helpful. Safe to say we will be returning to this park.

Stopped here on my way down the coast, the amenities and facilities were quite comprehensive, from pool and spa to boat ramp and floating pier. Modern camping kitchen and very clean amenities. The staff were quite friendly (even coming down at 3am in the morning, when I arrived without any booking after calling their after hours line) and pet friendly all year round. Definitely will stay here again.

What a little gem of a place. We were travelling south wanting 1 night at powered site, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are awesome incl pool. Sauna, driving range, lawn bowls etc. the best was the bathrooms which super clean including fresh bath mats! Great for our fur baby too, she loved walking around the fields!

Quiet little spot for a few days of camping. It's got everything you need when you need it. Kids all had a great time, even in the bad and unpredictable weather. Definitely will stay again.

Great service, slight hiccup with booking at the beginning but owners were quick to rectify. Great kids entertainment over Christmas holidays for the kids in the evenings and facilities were clean and tidy. I was impressed that fresh bath mats were supplied for your shower! (If you went at the right time). Stayed in a powered site and they accommodated our tent set up with a grassed area. The pool and jumping pillow were a hit.

I can understand the high reviews as this place is fantastic. With so many fun activities for the family to do that are included in the price, you will be constantly entertained and busy. But if relaxing is more your thing, the pool is a great place to relax or why not get a DVD from the large range in the kiosk.

We loved hiring the trikes, definitely a highlight but the mini golf was also a hit.

Visitors can join you at the park, however they must pay a fee to use the facilities with you. $5pp or $15per family.

Staff were so friendly and helpful and obviously do a great job looking after the park as it was clean and well looked after.

The communal kitchen was so clean and had multiple BBQ facilities, stove tops, microwaves and kettles. There is also a large fridge.

We stayed in a large family cabin, which was cosy but gave us everything we needed. I especially loved the multiple powerpoints throughout the cabin (something that is not common but should be) as well as the shower pressure. Air conditioning worked well to keep the cabin cool, but there is also a cool breeze when sitting on the large deck too.

The kiosk has a range of drinks, icecreams and basic supplies. You can hire beach towels here for $5 each for the duration of your stay too. But you aren’t far from local shops if you need to stock up on food or buy a meal or two.

As the half way point between Sydney and Brisbane and not far off the highway, I definitely recommend stopping here and we will be back.

Great spot. Right on the river. Accommodation is varied from cabins to large powered and unpowered sites. Plenty of room to move and some great facilities for all ages. Lovely pool area and jumping castle. Mini golf, driving range. Great amenities and everything clean and well looked after. Friendly professional staff

Stayed the one night as we were passing through. Well maintained, fantastic camp kitchen and facilities. Would be great if they put a jumping pillow back in.

Karen from reception is one of the loveliest people I have ever met. I was travelling through from the Gold Coast, on my way to Wollongong in an emotional state. I did struggle to find the park (my own fault) and I called Karen balling my eyes out, she was so sweet and friendly and directed me around until I made it. Finally arrived, checked in and wow the cabin was so clean!!! Headed up to reception at nearly 9pm at night and was still greeted by a smiling Karen who provided the wifi password with no hesitation Amazing stay. Will be back.

Fantastic park with great clean Facilities. The Camp kitchen was fantastic!!!!. There are plenty of things to do around the park even if you get sick of the fantastic swimming pool area. The grassed camping sites are great, they are directly opposite the river & boat ramp. Our only suggestion is to have water a little more accessible to to the sites especially for campers that have water systems set up in their camper trailers & possibly a short cut path to the amenities block (just a thought). They will even lend you a spanner when you need to undertake a repair to your car.

All up we were made to feel very welcomed & would recommend the Nambucca River Tourist Park to anyone.

Happy Travels.

Staff are absolutely lovely. The facilities are awesome. Putt putt golf, swimming pool with the most comfy lounge chairs and little side tables , inflated jumping pillow, lawn bowls ( extra charges apply ) golf driving range ( $8 for a bucket of balls bring your own clubs tho ) outdoor park/jungle jim climbing play equipment, sauna (extra charges apply ) outdoor but undercover spa ( extra charges apply) massive outdoor chessboard and drafts game boards and im sure there is other things to do i have forgotten to mention. The front office had a store inside and there prices are ridiculously cheap and you can even rent DVDs from there to.
Spotlessly clean outdoor camp kitchen and bbq undercover area. The old school games/entertainment room is the bomb and even without staying in the park for $5 per person or $15 for 2 adults and 2 kids you can still enjoy all the above mentioned facilities without a time limit. Stay all day or for a hour choice is yours. Myself and family and friends quite often visit on weekends. For $5 per person your can't find anywhere else in the valley. Trust me we have looked lol.

Loved it. Beautiful location. Very very friendly staff. AND you can rent kayaks for cheap. :)

If I MUST mention a negative, the tourist park is near the main motorway and you can hear the faint hum through the night. But the Kookaburras take over in the morning.
