Brookhaven Bean

Brookhaven Bean is a tiny little Cafe attached to the Brookhaven Estate sales office.
Set in a woody, idyllic area with a bubbling brook running in front and a community garden on one side with generous outdoor seating, it is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee or meal - a favourite for the locals.
The owner is known for the special dishes she makes on weekends - it is all home made, nona cooking. She's well known for her aioli, banana bread and cookies as well.
Her husband lovingly maintains the community garden which is lush with vegetables and herbs. On top of this, there's are also beehives harvested and consumed at the cafe as well as gifted to new residents. What a lovely Cafe it is ticking all the boxes - good food, good coffee, sustainability, environment.

Was there today with a couple of friends. The lady working behind the counter was in a moon boot and her husband was taking the food to the tables. Tells me its a small mum and dad business.

Absolute gem of a Cafe, food was lovely. It is small so don't expect your big Cafe breakfast but none the less the service was with a smile and the food was amazing and coffee, superb. Set with quiet creek running behind. Honestly just a lovely little spot with a great little Cafe.

Fantastic little gem of a cafe tucked away in with the Brookhaven land sales office. Beautiful coffee and the food is delicious. Also pet friendly.

I go there all the time and the food is great. Gloria makes the best brownies and milkshakes. I’ve really got to say it’s a wonderful little cafe and with amazing food!

Totally relaxed atmosphere, great hot chocolate!!!

We were excited to find out there was a coffee shop at the beautiful park, however we drove all the way and it was closed even though google map says it is open after 8:00 am. It was disappointing.

Hopefully they change google map operation hours so people will not disappoint like us in the future.

Im not too sure how to word this but i arrived around 10 am didnt leave with my order till close to 11am (11/8) there was three other people who had already been for the most part served. I felt for the girl behind the counter as she was alone but it was quiet and no one ordered after me for a good 40 mins. The girl got my order wrong 4 times. I asked for an iced mocha i got a hot latte. She asked me if this meant i have chocolate in my coffee which i assured her thats what a mocha is. I asked for the smashed avo with haloumi, sundried tomato, basil and greens. I received avo with egg. I told her i cannot eat egg. I received the same order back again. I again told her i cannot eat egg, i will read out my order again in case she missed it, she agreed. I received plain avocado toast with fetta and nothing else. I told her again it was incorrect. She came out again and assured me the order was correct, by this stage im late to work after waiting almost an hour i thanked her and left, she looked me in the eye assuring me it was correct. I checked in the car and the toast was lacking avocado, it had only tiny pieces of haloumi and the toppings were in a separate takeaway container so i just ended up with toast and salad on the side essentially. I just couldnt understand what went wrong but i tried my best to be understanding and reassuring. By this point i wanted my money back but i thought ill save the effort of confronting her a fourth time for the wrong order. Im super disappointed to say the least.
