Yuen’s Farmers Market

Yuens at Waterford has a variety of fruit and veggies. Usually far cheaper than supermarkets, especially when produce is in season. They also clear out stock in boxes or tubs and makes it great value for money for bulk meal prep or families.

They also have a have a wide range of condiments, snacks, yoghurt etc which is fabulous.

This week's purchase came in at $49.93; perfect stocking up the freezer. Volume includes:

19 mini avos, 1 bunch coriander, 7 huge pears, 3 capsicums, 3 oranges, 1 bag beans 750gm, 1 bag spinach 750gm, 8 zucchinis, 1 punnet strawberries, 1 tray cherry truss tomatoes 750gm, 1 tray ginger 350gm, 1 pineapple, 1 lettuce, 1 box (86) lemons, 1 box (19 large) sweet potatoes.

Really really good prices. Makes the cost of groceries more bearable. They even have discount fruit boxes that are on the way out!

Great place to source your local fruit and veg. The only issue that I've found since new ownership is the way the counters have been set up. Little to no room to efficiently place and pack your bags as the staff are scanning items.

Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, refrigerated cheese, olives and dips, plus a reasonable selection of International food items available. Prices are fantastic, you'll get double value compared to the supermarket.

Always has fresh produce. Staff is friendly and has an approachable attitude. The store is clean. So much to choose from. There is also a variety of different cultures in food choices from grains to sugary delights.

Great selection of fruit and veg, good sizes, prices are better than supermarkets and the plenty parking.

Always something new and in season here in store. High turn over means cheap prices and the freshest quality! Just need a few more kosher products but a good selection to be had 👍

Really great value produce! Some hit and miss, but can't turn down a bucket of avocados for under $5!

Watermelon $1.49 Kg, choose wisely, I bought one today and half was so bruised I had to throw it away..

The service with a smile makes a big difference. It's just like the old days where service to customer is more important. The fruit an veggies look very fresh.The prices are very reasonable to super markets even cheaper .Today I got bananas for 75 cents a kilo,strawberries 25 cents a Puckett. How awesome is that

Favourite local fruit and veg. Good range and good price. Also one time scored a box of 50 Snickers bars for 8 bucks or something. They must've been going out of date or something but I ate them all in less than 2 weeks and haven't been able to look at a Snickers bar since. I'm all Snickered out. Excellent value though.

Unbelievable amount of produce and such a variety. Their pricing is fantastic $10 tray mangoes. Their products last for generally a week before starting to turn. They also sell other items i.e. variety of nuts, pasta, pasta sauces, herbs, fresh and dried, dairy products milk, yoghurts, etc. This is the place to come to buy your weekly fruit and vegetables

We go here every week, even though there are many fruit stores closer. It is always packed because it offers great prices with efficient, friendly service.

Ignore the 1-star reviews complaining about one purchase that wasn’t up to standard: we’re talking about a perishable commodity here. By and large the quality here is top-notch, and WAY better than what you find in other fruit shops or supermarkets.
