Beautiful dead drop waterfall, best after some rain. Road is very narrow really need a four wheel drive.

Such a beautiful and relatively easy loop walk, just a few steps uphill but notjong too strenuous. The fog lifted at the perfect time to see the falls and the walk through the forest was like being transported into fairy tale book 🍃 the photos don't do it justice at all.

Absolutely amazing! Rain or shine it is a fantastic walk and is not difficult at all! Felt like we were in Lord of the Rings! Be careful when driving here though, unsealed roads that are not very suitable for the average car. We also ran into issues as the road to St Colombia Falls was closed when we went through - lots of back roads to get out.

Absolutely magical walk along a well maintained track to a lookout which gave glimpses of a tall waterfall through the cloud. We visited in winter so didn't expect a clear view but the drive through native bush from the Ringarooma side and the walk to the Falls was spectacular. A helpful local with a chainsaw cleared a tree across the road to enable a round trip through to Pyengana. Next time we'll take food to cook on the BBQ in the shelter opposite the carpark.

Great facilities and you can do a quick walk to the falls, or do the loop. You can't get close to the falls but its such a lovely walk it was worth it. The lichens and ferns were fabulous. The loop was well worth the effort.

Definitely take the loop track this takes you to the gorge lookout (off the main track on a small downhill track) and Ralph falls. Moss covers the forest floor and is dripping from the trees, absolutely stunning and peaceful. Worth the slightly hair-raising road (which would be not so hair-raising in a 4WD).

Very interesting waterfall, a unique and long drop. Excellently prepared track and nice walk around the loop track. Well worth the diversion.

One of Tasmania's most beautiful walks with an amazing waterfall. Only a short walk but taking in stunning rain forest, a tea tree forest, fabulous lookouts over the Ringarooma valley and a button grass plain. So much to see, a must do!

A very unique forest and waterfall. Make extra time if you're returning at night because the roads are teaming with wildlife after dark.

This is somewhat a hidden gem! The walk to the falls takes about 20 mins return. Honestly, that's only half the beauty. If you walk the trail that starts in the middle of the car park (not at the roadside), you get a beautifull boardwalk with changing nature every 50 meters or so. You can get a beautifull view of the nearby gorge along the path as well. It is very well maintained and has good markings. The shelter at the carpark will allow for a small group to sleep and cook there on the barbecue, although it has seen better days, it has a decent roof, 3 walls, a gas powered bbq and a rainwater tank. Some picnic tables can be found along the carpark and near the shelter.
