The drive is well worth it.
Beautiful scenery and cool climate rain forest canopy.
The walking trail is pretty easy but uphill on return journey.
Only 'issue' was size of the viewing platform but we were there in school holidays.

This is a hidden gem! A beautiful gentle slope down to the most amazing waterfall, the walk up was not too bad and the rainforest which seemed cool on the way in was refreshing on the way back. Parking is along side the road and there are toilets.

Beautiful place to see. The walk was short and easy. The paths were gravel but still well kept. Definitely want to go again.

After a short 600m downhill walk you're greeted with a magnificent multi level waterfall cascading down from the skyline above. The track down is an easy walk for the average visitor, the falls are visible via glimpses through the trees and there is a new viewing platform at the bottom. Great for families with young kids.

Beautiful short trek to in redoble waterfalls. The trek is downhill all the way, so keep that in mind on the return. Easy hike overall with high rewards in the form of the view. My husband and I arrived when the sun was right above the top of the falls, making photos difficult. But it was gorgeous.

Only a short walk, rock stairs are involved. The walk to the falls was nice in itself. The falls are great.
A definite thing to do if you like nature.

This place was simply spectacular, even from a distance. The walk is easy to get there as it's mostly downhill (not as easy walking back!). The walk through the rainforest was truly magical but was only a prelude to the main event, the falls themselves. An absolute must do when in the area.

Steep incline for the short walk to the waterfalls, so can be difficult on the calves if you’re weak (like me haha), but gorgeous view and atmosphere. Great walk through a small rainforest, and then just a gorgeous view of the waterfalls!

Incredible waterfall. We visited after high rains and it was a giant falls to view. Really nice walk to the falls and lovely forests along the way

There is a little walk from the parking space to the fall, the walk itself is very pleasant and enjoyable. You will be surrounded by ferns, lakes, cute bridges, and the sound of waterfall, its like you are in a forest. There is also some interesting information about the falls and the area at the entrance, spend sometime to read it and you will appreciate it even more.

Absolutely stunning.

Beautiful little drive out through narrow soft edge roads.

I was told by a local it is always flowing even without any rainfall.

In my opinion, it is a must do.

Toilet and picnic area with tables.

The walk is barely 15min return. I think all fitness levels would make it up and back. Can get a boggy underfoot in sections.

Short hike. Easy for the unfit. Very tranquil..short 8min drive to pub in the paddock for lunch where the food is A++. Plenty of parking. Toilets at entrance - well maintained.

Amazing falls! Beautiful walk through the fern and mossy forest. A bit of a steep walk back, so if you have disabilities you might find it challenging. My kids did great, not hard for them at all.

Great short walk to the falls.
It may be a short 30 minute drive from St Helens, and a short 15 minute walk to the falls, but those are the only short things about this experience. The standout is undoubtedly the falls: at more than 90m, one of Tasmania’s highest. The walk to the base of the falls is definitely another highlight. It takes you through cool and shady rainforest that has some of the tallest treeferns you’ll see anywhere. Once at the lookout you’ll crane your neck as you watch the South George River tumbling down in a delightful series of steep cascades. Return uphill via the same track. 20-30 minute return, 1.2km return
Grade 2: Suitable for most ages. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.

The most beautiful walk to end at this stunning waterfall. 25 min from St Helens or on the road in if coming from Launceston. A must if in the area❤
