We arrived to be told that the Mongolian Lamb had just been cooked. We ordered that and it was delicious. A nice beer to accompany it.
We sat outside in the sun and met some fellow travellers. Nice environment.
Didn't get around to meeting the pig.

Our Tasmaniacs riding group stopped in for a cold ale and lunch. Staff were friendly, the meals delicious and came out super fast. Probably some of the best chips I've ever tasted.
Set in a wonderful natural environment. Recommend to anyone who has the time to zip off the main roads and visit this beautiful place.

Lively stop for lunch. Great views and beautiful atmosphere.
Loved the gardens where their produce comes from. Loved the home cooked meals and just in general the people. And fun to watch the un untreated pig being fed the beer and people getting excited.

Can't recommend this little gem highly enough! We stayed one night in the "love shack" (which had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy) we wished we'd been able to stay longer.
Big shout out to Angel for her wonderful hospitality, the food was awesome, and big thanks to old mate who lit the outside firepot for us and provided us with wood for the evening.

Fabulous Pub in The Paddock venue. We arrived close to kitchen closing but Walter made us very welcome and told us to take our time. The steaks, lamb shank and seafood chowder were delicious. Rooms were comfortable and warm. The little kitchen was well stocked with tea and coffee and continental breakfast supplies.
All in all a great stay. The pigs were a delight and loved their beer!
Thanks, we’ll be back…The More family

Ok, head up, google maps looses connection about 5 minutes away from pub. Ha ha we found out the hard way..
The place is picturesque, the bar area is really nicely decorated, the staff are super friendly and polite.
Our food came out really fast and they were busy. Hubs had the Lamb Shank special and said it was delicious, I has the Angus beef burger which was really good. Soo glad we made the 31min drive from St. Helens.
Definitely recommend this pub.

Great pub plenty of character. It literally is just a pub in a paddock. For me it’s box ticked. Wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit. It’s a great pub, recommend stopping in. Certainly not a poor review.

Stayed for a couple of night in the paddock in self contained caravan. Spectacular views and so tranquil - only 1 van and some cows to share with.
The food and staff are unbelievable! Best surf and turf ever!!

Loved this place! Great beer, food and service! They also offer free camping in their paddock which is amazing. Beautiful waterfalls not far; Halls Falls and Saint Columba, definitely worth checking out!

Great pub for cold beverages and yummy food.
Service was excellent. Very friendly staff.
The kids (or you) can by "beer" for the pigs. It's watered down for them.

Such an epic spot, located amongst working farms we watched sheep being herded. Our four year loved seeing the resident pigs which were friendly, especially if you feed them. Learning about the history of the pub is a great journey through history.

Cool place to stop for a meal or a drink if you're touring around. Old school style pub with welcoming staff. We ordered the surf and turf, which was cooked perfectly.

We had lunch there yesterday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was exceptional and the service was great. Lovely warm atmosphere on a rainy day. It was so good we went back again today on our way through. Again the food was exceptional. Forget about fancy restaurants this place is historically magnificent. Great views, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Thanks, we hope to get back one day!
