Lawnton Tavern

Have been attending this quaint location for coming up to a year and today I tried one of the new Chef's Specials ( mango and brie cheese stuffed chicken ), suffice to say it was an exceptional blend of flavours, with each and every bite expanding on the delicacy of the individual flavours. Chef has skills. Chef pushes the boundaries of what fantastic food can be. A must have before it vanishes from the Chef's Specials. Chef is humble beyond belief.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was greeted by the friendly bistro staff. Korean chicken bites are very nice. Good food and Cold beer, we will be back.

Awesome food and service. Food cooked to perfection. Friendly bar staff and Kat was a pleasure to deal with.

Nice tavern. Good service. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Bit pricey but huge lunch feed. Definitely recommend.

Had a nice quiet lunch here. Food was good and good value, staff were very generous on the child menu portions. Good playground for the kids though can get a little hot during the day. The is also an indoor playroom too so plenty to keep them busy.

It's always a great experience going to dinner here. The staff are lovely and friendly, lovely atmosphere and always great meals. Special mention to Kat, who always makes our visit amazing

I’ve lived in Petrie near the Lawnton Tavern for more than 15 years but for some reason, I had never been there for a meal (or for any other reason) until today. What a surprise. The friendly staff were on the front foot to assist, immediately resolving a small issue that I had raised. Plus the menu choices were also great! Garlic bread followed by Mango salad and the cauliflower share plate (like honey chicken but with cauliflower instead - much better for you) was delicious! I’m definitely going back. Tuesday lunch was pretty quiet but I feel it was a great time to go!

Ive been coming to Lawton for several years now. Cannot ever fault the service or food. However, tonight i got the lamb shanks. It was the best pub meal ive ever eaten. The lamb was so tender and the vegetables were all individually perfectly cooked.

Our favourite place to dine for a good quality, well priced meal with amazing service. One lady in particular that just always goes above and beyond every time we are here, always a smile on her face. Family of four that dine here at least twice a week and have no complaints..

Had the best Lamb Shanks I have ever had in my life tonight. Absolutely beautifully cooked and the sauce was fantastic. My husband had a steak and he thoroughly enjoyed his as well. Top marks to the chef.

Had a amazing dinner tonight for get togthere with 15 of my work mates tables were set out beatifully with balloons food was beautiful n cooked to perfection n the service from our waitress simeon was amazing so polite n kind such a wonderful beaitful person to deal with definately recommend having dinner here n wil absoultley b going there again.. thank u for such a wonderful night....

Came in some time last week and wanted to say how much i loved being in this venue and the environment of this pub was amazing, There was a lady with blonde hair (was an older lady) but she was amazing. Was cracking jokes with me and all my mates, helped us with any needs or concerns we had and was just an amazing worker overall. only new to the area so having this experience with this pub i will be coming back for partys ect. Please if anyone reads this i would love for them to say a big thankyou to that lady and i wish i knew that lady because i would come back specifically for her.

Enjoyed a steak sanga w/ chips and a pint of ll&b.
Rita went out of her way to explain the ordering process and show us the venue.
Wonderful experience and we will return to explore the rest of the menu and venue.

The cheese platter was yummy, with the 1kg of chicken wings. Has actually been one of the best meals from any restaurant I've been to. Thank you everyone for the lovely service. Also, everything was very clean.

Kat was super professional and the chefs cooked an amazing steak and chips, comfortable environment and lovely cold air-con!! 10/10 would dine again & intend too!

This place is a 10 out of 10, 100% recommend coming hear to eat and catch up with family or friends. The food is the best, the service is the great and staff are really friendly. The atmosphere is really good as well.

Dinner at Lawnton Tavern tonight! Nothing but praise for the staff and perfect service! Our waitress Jenny was just wonderful, the food was delicious and after tonight, Lawnton will definitely be my favourite place to go for dinner!

Walked in establishment and it was inviting and quite modern. Staff were fantastic and up for a joke and a laugh.. food was great was very busy but staff advised of wait which really was.nit that bad. Even though there were some grumpy people that did not like waiting. Staff sorted them well. .
Beer was priced well smashed a few $6 pints
