Dr Tyson Doneley

Dr Tyson Doneley performed a knee replacement for my mother. The outcome was amazing and Dr Doneley gave my mum back her quality of life. He treated her with respect and care in the initial consultation. He examined her thoroughly and assessed what her priorities were before doing the surgery. He showed her the knee prosthesis and made her feel comfortable that he did not just recommend surgery without first considering all other options and considering my mum's physical needs. She was so impressed and even though she had seen 6 previous knee surgeons in the past, my mum felt confident with Dr Doneley and his explanations. She had difficulty with extreme pain and very poor mobility prior to her surgery. After her surgery, Dr Doneley came to see her every day and often twice a day. He encouraged her and as a result she was home after 1 week and could use stairs before she was discharged. The team at Greenslopes were excellent. Dr Doneley was very professional and kind and our family cannot thank him enough for the care he took. After 4 weeks, my mum was no longer needing crutches and, for the first time in 15 years, she is pain free and back to her fun and free self. I cannot recommend Dr Doneley highly enough. A big thank you !

In addition, a work colleague also went to see Dr Doneley in relation to a knee in jury. She was again very happy with Dr Doneley's care and knowledge.

Dr Doneley is an excellent Surgeon who has operated on me twice with the latest procedure being a Total Knee Replacement (TKR).
Dr Doneley took the time and made the effort to explain my options before I decided on TKR and he always had my best interests at heart in all of our discussions.
He is a caring and trustworthy person who puts his patients first, has an excellent bedside manner and he is supported by a professional and efficient Team at his Practice, that ensured I was kept informed during both of my knee operations. Nothing I asked for, was ever too much for them. Thanks Kim!

As a veteran RN I have never seen such an incredible invisible scar 2 weeks down. No Staples, no sutures. Went to movies and lunch for my daughter's birthday today. I genuinely felt that my knee was Dr Doneley's primary concern. Having been in the industry I am overly sensitive to being treated with dignity and respect which I received 100% from Dr Doneley.

Doctor Doneley is supported magnificently by his receptionist Kim. I was a difficult case requiring much rescheduling, a Q super case etc. Kim was understanding, compassionate , fast to respond and an all round total professional.

I could not recommend this team more highly. Awaiting knee 2 with total confidence.

Dr Doneley is an exceptionally skilled surgeon who is also very caring. He takes the time to listen and explain exactly what your surgery will involve and visits patients to check on their progress even after hours. I had a total knee replacement and could not be happier with the outcome.

Dr Doneley has just performed his second knee operation on my mum in just 12 months. The recovery time on the first operation was excellent and due to his use of new techniques/technology the second time around seems even better.

Dr tyson Doneley is remarkable doctor/surgeon as I had a very difficult break to my right tibia which required rod and pins.
Dr Tyson Doneley explained the complete procedure prior to surgery and all went like clockwork from him and his highly recommended staff.

Dr doneley would have to be the best surgeon, not only his professionalism in the field, but his bedside manner is second to none. I had nothing but the best people looking after me, everyone in his team were so polite and comforting, from the time i entered until the time I left. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was in big need for a total hip replacement......I had no quality of life anymore....was in constant pain.....walked with a limp.....and pretty slow.....
Dr Doneley performed an anterior approach hip replacement 4 weeks ago.
The morning after the replacement Dr Doneley came to see me and told me.....there are NO restrictions to your movements.....
And I could feel it.....it felt soo good......and the scar is only a little away from bikini line (front)
I play. Bridge....and I played 1 1/2 weeks ago......the people were amazed......how fast (and without pain) I walked....
Today.....it was my check up day......
Everything A1.... am allowed to drive again😀

Exceptional service! They did everything to fit me in as soon as possible, and I got very good advice. The explanation of my injury was clear, and this doctor took as much time as needed to answer all of my questions regarding sport. The doctor really cares for his patients, and I felt understood and comfortable during the consultations. I hope I don't need to see him again, but I would definitely recommend anyone to go to this doctor.

Full Hip replacement - proceeded exactly as advised and planned . Great result - home after 4 days - walking without crutches on day 7 - back at work ( office ) day 10 . far better outcome than what most people had warned
