Cafe Les Amoureux

This restaurant is situated in the heart of Sunnybank, a vibrant hub with most other restaurants serving Asian cuisine.

It doesn't look like a very fancy restaurant and has a very humble feel when you are seated inside. There is a large piece of wall art that serves to put you in a zone of being in a western cafe.

Food was excellent. I recommend the Wagyu Tomahawk. Once you try it you can't go back to any other steak selections as the it is cooked to perfection. You can feel how tender and succulent it is and when you cut into the steak and when you taste it, it melts in your mouth and tastebuds are on overdrive.

The salmon selection was surprisingly just as good.

The dessert was marvelously presented and was enpar with fine dining experiences.

Pricing-wise it is a bit expensive but you are paying for quality food and only at a fraction of a price to actual fine dining restaurants.

Surprisingly good food. Sole western/french bistro restaurant in a very Asian location. Great value compared to similar restaurants in other locations. Good portion sizes and beautifully presented too! Loved the steak and Caesar salad! Delicious pasta and fries. Definitely going back!

Great to see this place reopen again.
We have been a fan of this place for so long, and we are so glad they're open again. Great food as always. Steak has great marble and is cooked to perfection. One of the best place for steak in Brisbane, imho. Will definitely come back.

Omg went here for a meeting haven't tried the food could do with some vegan options but the cocktails are amazing (pictured tequila sunrise and mojito) plan on comming back one night with my boyfreind and having a few drinks

One of the last restaurants with french style cuisine, (the only one in this area) and the meals are always great. Duck in cherry sauce is my favourite, but also love the lamb dishes, and they steaks look great (I never order steak when out). Family run it seems which does mean service can be slow at busy times, but meals are worth the wait. Come with friends and enjoy the time to chat.

It's a good thing your sitting down when you're eating one of their steaks, as every mouthful engages all the endorphins to max production.

Quality steaks without the fine dining markup at a location you'd least expect.

This is my go to quarterly (at least) reward when I want an indulgent piece of meat.

But it's not all about the steaks:
Highly recommend in general, with a great menu, & considerate staff to boot.

You wouldn't head to Market Square or Sunnybank for that matter to eat western food let alone steak. But this little out of placed restaurant has not disappointed me for the past years I have been dining here. The steaks are great and love the rosemary fries! Staff are friendly and always smiling. It's fine dining food made affordable.

We had lunch at Cafe Les Amoureux a few weeks ago. The service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and courteous. Our food was served quite quickly, good portions and it was delicious. We had a great experience! Highly recommend this place!

I have been here a few times now and the food has always been great. Good value for money and is definitely the best place for steak in the Sunnybank area. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Favourite dishes are the lamb shank and peppercorn salmon - the mashed potato is awesome

Just had a fantastic Wagyu steak with pepper sauce, cooked to perfection! The rosemary French fries is a hidden gem on the menu. Can highly recommend the creme burlee too! I would say the best steak place in Sunnybank and surrounds

My family and I love this little gem of a restaurant in Market Square. The lamb shanks are amazing and are absolutely a favourite! Great value for money and the service has always been prompt and friendly when we've visited.

A great night celebrating a birthday and the food, service and price were all excellent. The strawberry dessert was something else. Never have I had such a superb dessert before. I fully intend returning to this fantastic eatery again and again.

Dropped by this place on a recommendation from a friend. Surprisingly underrated! The staff were helpful and the food were great. Had the pasta and also the steak. Definitely recommend this to others. All the best guys! its a gem!
