Chrissy's empathy toward us [non IT savvy dinosaurs]was comforting.
She displayed great knowledge, humour, patience, and excellent verbal and written support. She did not rush through each step of the process to open an account with My Gov. as we were unable to complete this at home.

Just had an appointment with my daughter and we were served by Brian at Caloundra, what an absolute champion!! Wonderful service, he was so funny and very helpful, made an otherwise tedious experience enjoyable! Thanks Brian, hope to see you at City Edge Church one day ☺😏

A lovely lady at the reception desk (I believe her name was Tenielle) was really helpful after myself and young client was waiting 3 hours. Really went above and beyond for her to receive the best outcome possible. :)

There services could be a lot quick

I always find the staff at Centrelink Caloundra helpful but they are letdown by services Australia phone system. I’m trying to make an appointment for Caloundra office and the automated system just cuts me off so I’ve now asked to speak to an operator and already waiting 45minutes.

Had simple task to complete but front desk staffer was quite unhelpful and definitely not very friendly. I know it must be a tedious job but at least be courteous to clients. Must have had a bad weekend...

Handed our application forms in at the branch on the 12th Dec . Have not heard a word since then, not even an acknowledgement from Centrelink that they have received/processing our application. One would expect some sort of response.
Rather disappointing.

Front desk staff were helpful. Got appointment but that's where it ended. The staffer we got was incompetent and not helpful. Could not process anything had to get help from other staff. Gave us the wrong information and then when the other staff told us she'd help with a new card. She said you have to do that on line. Please train your staff before letting them loose.

It's not the people working in Centrelink, it's the process they are forced to follow. The staffing has been cut so severely, there aren't enough people to answer phones and give time to clients as they try to wade through the plethora of rules and regulations. Of course there have to be rules to adhere to but many people need help with the forms!!!

I’ve been phoning everyday for a month now and can’t even get through to anyone,an absolute embarrassment to the Australian government and service is beyond pathetic.

I think they must get some kind of award every time they make someone cry. Rude, impatient and make you feel like something they scraped off their shoes.

Visited the branch on Monday was provided totally incorrect information and was shoved out as fast I could be. Don't bother coming to this branch, the phone lines are more helpful.

What's the point of a phone number if you can't speak to anyone. Why is it so hard for the government to just have a branch number in your area, just like every other business has.
