Nice location with fantastic views, good food quality with generous portions, and friendly staff.

A favourite place for my baby bears and I to visit. The chocolate selection alone is worth it for my kiddos but the food is delicious, the Nachos particularly loved by my family. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, great coffee as well.

What a place to relax and eat great food! Don’t let the front fool you. As you step into the cottage area it opens to a beautiful grassed seating area where you can see an amazing view. Dog and kid friendly, this place had it all together with great service and even better food.

An absolute gem of a place. Parking can be a challenge but we’ll worth it. The cafe has an assortment of meals/snacks as well as their chocolate. Beautiful outdoor setting with toilets nearby. Our dogs were welcome on their leashes. The platter was worth the price, great as a shared meal. If you’re in the area it’s an absolute must visit

We visited The Chocolate Cottage after it was recommended by some locals.

The cottage was easy to find, although parking appeared to be limited. If the grounds are full, there is a service road that offers parallel parking. Even on a Monday, there were only a couple of spots available.

The premises itself is impressive. The interior showcases not only the chocolate cabinet for which they are known, but also includes several walls filled with gourmet products, including sauces, jams, etc., through to a large selection of giftware. Most eye-catching, undoubtedly, is the sprawling garden that leads to million dollar views. Filled with tables and chairs, this is a great sunny day option. Naturally, there is plenty of seating inside as well.

We selected the Char Grilled Vegetarian stack and the Toasted Ruben on Light Rye as lunch options. For treats, we chose the Creme Brulee pastry and the Pear & Lime tart, along with a handful of different chocolates. As always, a Flat White and Chai Latte to wash it down.

Our dining experience, across the board, was positive and genuinely enjoyed. Everything was good quality, tasty, well presented and, overall, justified the higher price point. The drinks and desserts were similarly judged and happily devoured.

The service was pretty good, overall. Atlas is a quirky chap but knows his stuff, and Hamish was friendly and happy to assist.

In summary, The Chocolate Cottage does many things right; the service, premises, ambience, and food & drink standards were all above par. We enjoyed our visit and would return, without question.

This is a beautiful place to eat lunch. The seating spaces are gorgeous. The infusion of flavours in my Mediterranean stack were perfect! The chocolates were delicious. It was so hard to pick just a couple each. The coffee was bitter, but everything else made up for that. The staff were friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Delighted cafe serving delicious burgers. Love the outdoor seating with a great view. Setving's huge but tasty. They also have a good variety of home made chocolates to share or for gifts.

We always get the today's special and have not been disappointed!

The food is always super yummy and have always been well presented. I find the portions have been pretty big and have always been quite filling. Definitely worth what you paid for! 🤤

Not a fan of their drinks. I found them too sweet or lacking something. My partner on the other hand was happy with his drink last time we were there.

The staff are always nice and friendly.

We love sitting in their outdoor space but may have to book in to make sure you have a table. We've just always been lucky enough to get seats when we do visit.

What can I say… chocolate + coffee + cake! Yummo! Housed in a round of buildings, this cottage was really cute. Parking available on the grassed area at the back. A bit of a walk up the hill (about 80m) but oh so worth it.

Staff were friendly, helpful and super vigilant. We chose to sit on the sunny grassed area, mwah! Loved everything.

The family friendly cafe has a lot to offer on menu and the best offer is warm hospitality and friendly staff. High fields has always been my favourite and this small cafe has a backyard space for food court too. I had this smoked salmon and my favourite ice long black. The cafe indoors is cozy and good for families. I enjoyed staying out as the weather was just so perfect

I was so impressed by the food, the portions were such price value and the taste was amazing, also so fresh. The service was fantastic too.

This place is a great little find!! Hidden away on the eastern side of the Highway at Highfields its a bit hard to find, but definitely worth trying out. It's a quirky place with multiple dining areas. There is indoor dining beside the fire place or towards the centre of the building where you enjoy the view. There are small verandahs at the front and back, which can be enclosed when the weather is not as good. Out the back is an amazing view of the Lockyer Valley where you can dine out on the lawn. Out the front is a small courtyard with a few tables in the shade. They do excellent food and good drinks. This place can get vey busy, but they pump the meals out pretty quickly. On a busy day consider making a reservation if you have a larger group or want a table with a good view. This place has a range of gifts and food stuffs for sale. As the name suggests, this place also sells chocolate!! There is a wide range of yummy choccie choices to chose from. Parking out of the street can be a bit hard to find when it gets busy. This place right next to Montys Brewery if you want to enjoy a quick drink or two after brunch to continue enjoying the amazing view.

This is the second time we have visited recently. The food is excellent. My wife had a savoury muffin with salad which was fresh and delicious. I had the burger which was very filling. The first time I had the pancakes which were excellent.

Nice little cafe situated within Village Green, it was peaceful sitting outdoors to enjoy the food and scenery at the same time.

We were recommended to partake lunch in this eatery. We were not disappointed. Lip smacking meals, with efficient friendly service. We shared a warm Thai chicken salad with a moist chocolate fudge cake.
We are told their breakfast service is equally enjoyable.

Absolutely lovely place to spend time with friends for morning tea and lunch. You can either sit indoors or enjoy the tables with shade umbrellas out on the large green lawned area.
Around the lawns are several shops with gifts and women's clothing.
The staff are friendly and very professional.

Gorgeous little cafe in what was a church. Nice variety of foods including gluten free. Stopped for coffees and sandwich. Generous serves. Gift shop with chocolate and homeware, gift items. Staff were lovely team. Would dine again. Tables inside and out, inside has air conditioning. Plenty of parking on site. Rest rooms outside.
