The experience from beginning to end was great. A big thank you to our waitress for the Sake recommendation as I am a complete Sake novice. The wagyu was unbelievably soft and buttery. A nice private atmosphere.

Great restaurant. Doesn’t feel too smokey inside at all. The wagyu was excellent and can be cooked to your own liking

Awesome Japanese BBQ restaurant. The meats were of the top most quality and super tasty. Very nice and modern interior with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating inside the courtyard. Very friendly staff. Would 100% recommend to visit!

Excellent place to dine. The atmosphere service were very good at this shop. A gem in Parramatta. They have decent variety of cuts of meats, offering Wagyu and regular curs of meat. The ox tongue and pork cheek were awesome. But the meat in general was well seasoned.

The mango daifuku with the mint was surprisingly a good combo.

The shop can be a little hard to find but it's path is situated in between to buildings. Plenty of street parking and weekends it free at the parking lot or just park at Westfield's.

Tucked away in the street right beside a parking lot. Feels like you're stepping inside a Japanese garden when you first enter the restaurant. We had made a reservation for dinner and when we entered was immediately greeted by friendly staff who guided us to our table. Ordered the premium sashimi platter, the Wagyu oyster blade and ox tongue platter among others. It was my first time trying ox tongue, I think the taste is decent but a little tough. The dipping sauce was a light sweet soy sauce which paired very well with the meats. The highlight was definitely the Wagyu, the meat was incredibly tender and juicy and melted in your mouth. Sashimi platter was also very nice, very fresh but was surprised that they didn't have a sushi collection too. Service did kind of feel a bit slow at times but mainly since the restaurant was completely full. The ice cream in the end was also very delicious, some very unique flavours too like roasted matcha which definitely tasted very different than normal matcha. Quite a reasonably priced dinner between 5 adults ($500+ including drinks).

This was my first JBBQ experience, and it was amazing. Was expecting it to be like KBBQ, and in my opinion it is similar. With JBBQ, it's more of the quality of meat and its natural flavours, different dipping sauces and grill.

The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the mouthwatering meat that practically melted in your mouth with every bite as it should. It's more on the pricier side if we're comparing to the ACYE JBBQs out there, but as I've never been I can't give a comparison on the quality.

Aside from the culinary delights, what truly elevated our experience at Touka was the exceptional service. The staff exuded a genuine passion for what they do, and their attentiveness created an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. From explaining the various cuts of meat to ensuring our glasses were never empty, their service added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.

Definitely recommend.

Fresh produce & a intimate atmosphere, ideal for catch ups, occasions or that special date night
Quality was on point. I would recommend the set menu so you can get a bit of everything. It’s a bit on the higher price side if you order single dishes.
Vibe and decor made it feel like we are in Japan.
This hidden Gem is a must go to for clean fresh bbq meat.
Service was great!

One of my favorite places to have Japanese barbecue in Sydney. The meat is super high quality and the seafood is so fresh. They also have so much variety on their menu including cooked dishes and desserts as well! Must visit if you are in the Parramatta area.

Really delicious, good value food. Loved the atmosphere inside & the staff were really sweet! Everything we tried tasted great. We got the $150 bundle which came with a load of options & extras. The grills have a good ventilation system so if you're concerned about it getting smoky inside don't worry! Definitely book in advance if you can though - when we arrived it was pretty quiet but once ~7:30 hit it was jam packed.

Awesome Japanese BBQ in Parramatta. Had an excellent dining experience here. Top quality food and service. Had some Wagyu Beef, chicken thigh, pork belly, deep fried soft Shell Crab, salmon salad, miso soup and rice.
Cost $163 with 2 beers. Not cheap but very good quality food.
Highly recommend this BBQ Restaurant in Parra!

Great ambiance and superb quality of ingredients. A tad bit pricey but worth coming even if it's just for special occasions. Can be quite busy so I recommend booking ahead.

The sushi/sashimi platters have phenomenal presentation and all were as delicious as they looked so they didn't last long on the table (first come first serve with my family!).

The cuts of meat are all great but personally I think you can't beat the kakubi cut for its flavour, texture and the price.

Seasonal veges were great but take a long time to cook and end up taking a lot of real estate on grill but worth it. Make sure to toss the veges in the soy sauce in the plate before grilling.

The desserts are also worth looking into but the raindrop cake has never been in stock whenever I visit.

A great Japanese barbecue restaurant in Parramatta. We got a set which included unlimited rice, miso soup and ice cream. It was really good value for money for 4 people. We were all very full by the end!

It's a hidden gem in parramatta. It's just a few minutes walk from the station and just beside the parking building. The food is amazing and the service is quick. The staff are nice and polite and the food price is reasonable. The place is quiet and and is good for small group. There are plenty of choices but I'll recommend getting their sets which comes with unlimited rice, miso soup and ice cream! They said it look fancier at night so I may come back to try it again.
