Very cute little restaurant. Great food and service is top notch. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food came out with perfect timing. All the food we ordered was really fresh and tasty.

The restaurant looks quite nice, good styling around. The food is quite tasty, I ordered the Teriyaki chicken ramen and I'd happily get it again.

Came here for their sashimi, sushi rolls and Chicken Nanban. They were all great except that the Chicken Nanban could have used a bit more seasoning this time but it’s normally quite tasty. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back again.

Okay I have really high expectation on sushi but this is reallllyyyy good. Best sushi rolls in Brisbane!! Their Lion roll is especially remarkable.

Rainbow roll is even better!! Order this every time I’m here!
So in conclusion, must order rainbow roll and lion roll!!

Highly recommend Sunny Doll restaurant. Delicious food, excellent service and very affordable prices. BYO wines which was great as there is a bottle shop just around the corner. We will be back for sure!

the best sushi I've ever tasted, the beef wagyu is a must try. quite pricey but the taste is awesome

The sushi was fresh and delicious, we tried most of the rolls and they were all good. I especially liked the karaage chicken roll. They had all the other expected a la carte items on the menu too. It was a nice casual Japanese restaurant with indoor seating. They had a limited range of cocktails and beers too. Would come back again!

Food is fresh and tasty. The presentation of food is also on a good level: tea is served in nice teapot, sushi and sashimi are great-looking.

The place is cozy but still have enough space to come with kid and they have 2 highchairs.

There is a street parking but also place itself has car park.

I will definitely come back again

This was the first place I went to after 67 days in
the Papuan jungle and it was my best decision in that time - the rolls were exquisite and fresh, and the imported Japanese beer selection is amazing. Would definitely visit again!

Really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious, great service and peaceful dining. I found the options very authentic and beautifully served. I can't fault this place at all, as I ate everything so quickly - in fact I forgot to take the picture until I'd almost finished my Tuna Shashimi and nagiri (yummm!!!)

The service was average, the chicken was fresh,soft,juicy, the beef was seasoned well and tender, the mushroom was perfect crisp, the beef salad could be more generous.

This is my favourite place to eat out in Brisbane!!! The salmon sashimi 🍣, scallop nigiri, agadashi tofu and prawn🍤 tempura are some of my favourites🍱. The staff are always so friendly and happy. I always love to have a Sapporo and my husband loves the bubble lychee tea with our meal. Can’t recommend this place enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The chicken katsu curry is one of the best I've had, and I eat a lot of them.

Probably the best Japanese in Brisbane.
Great location, staff, service and food.
They usually have an extra seasonal menu as well.
Parking is usually available on the back.

Loved the miso soup, and chicken karagee.
The Salmon salad is my favourite dish here: perfectly seared and plenty of fresh avocado.
