Verandah on Racecourse

My partner and I ate here on a Saturday night. Our food was delicious and fresh! I had the vegetarian fried rice and it was so good; I absolutely devoured it! My partner had a chicken pho, his favourite Vietnamese dish, and he really enjoyed it. We both stuffed our faces as it was SO yummy!
Fabulous and fresh, the loveliest staff, and of course, the most beautiful restaurant on Racecourse Road! Oh, and they have wonderful live music. So 10/10. Love this place.

Excellent dining experience here to celebrate my birthday so good I am beyond words. The excellent food , decor and warm friendly service was worth it. The service was on point and absolutely flawless. I considered this as one of best Vietnamese restaurant with food that amazes your tastebuds . Definitely coming back here.

Loved everything about it.
The 2 servers were very friendly, helpful amd made me feel welcome . I had the Vietnamese iced tea and the beef stew. Both were very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Been to this place a before a few times in the past when it was under different management, it was good then but a bit better now the menu is a bit more diverse. This place is great for breakfast/lunch and serves a great coffee, the setting is really nice with alot of hanging plants. We ordered the pancake stack and smoke salmon stack, both were excellent, the service was fast and friendly and also cater for small children, will definitely be back again.

I can't comment on the restaurant's atmosphere as we ordered delivery, but while it is a little more expensive than some other Vietnamese restaurants ... in our opinion it is worth it as the food is also of higher quality. Generousmeal sizes too. Will definitely be ordering again.

This was a great place to stop for a drink and relax. Very nice spot. Happy friendly Loca ok s too.

Hands down one of the most authentic and best pho I’ve had in Brisbane! The team is very friendly and prompt with service despite the place being quite busy. The interior is also very well decked out with lovely fresh flowers and plants with gives it a very tropical and vibrant vibe. Would definitely be back!

BEST PHO! Very flavoursome broth that complements the noodles, meat and toppings. Very generous portion sizes too. Will make your mouth water and that’s a promise. Highly recommend even if you’re not an avid pho lover.

Really impressed with the customer service. Greeted with a smile, asked at appropriate times if we wanted anything and we didn’t feel forgotten about. Drinks selection was good and the food was delicious! We were even allowed to bring our dog with us and sit outside, impressed. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely experience here tonight, I’m staying in Hamilton for the night for a training course for work and I strolled down the street for dinner. Found this stunning Vietnamese place and instantly went over to have a look, there’s a menu out the very front so you can have a look at their food before going right in, and they had a wide variety of yummy Vietnamese dishes including some great vegetarian options!

I went in and felt very welcomed and greeted by the lovely front of house staff who gave me some options on some tables to sit at, being on my own I wanted to just be off to the side a bit and there was a perfect little table just over towards the edge that wasn’t tucked away but was nice to just sit at alone. It’s a beautiful restaurant though and looks like a great place to have a family dinner or for a birthday night out or date night!

I ordered a Strawberry Mojito and the Tofu and Spring Roll Vermicelli Salad, and I absolutely loved both of them, nice strong cocktail with real, fresh ingredients that was thrown together perfectly! And the food was so delicious and huge portions, I still had heaps left to take back to my hotel for later.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to Erika, Aya and Nydia for their absolutely wonderful service that made my night so lovely. Even though I was alone and chose to sit off to the side a bit, I felt so looked after and taken care of the entire time, thank you so much for giving the restaurant such a lovely vibe and being so friendly and kind. I saw a lady next to me clicking you over to her table because they decided they wanted dessert, they weren’t even waiting and you guys had just checked on them yet they impatiently clicked one of you over and whoever it was treated them just as lovely as anyone else there. Truly can’t credit you enough, I have worked in hospitality and nothing annoys me more than people like that, and you handled it all in your stride. You guys were lovely and friendly no matter what and looked after everyone with 5 star service, thank you! The man at the bar who took my payment was also lovely!

This was an absolutely wonderful restaurant with superb staff and amazing food and can’t recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you so much for the lovely night Verandah On Racecourse crew :)

This is my favourite place/ racecourse road!!! Great Staff /we did our reception and my birthday there and I always recommend this to my friends & colleagues. Food was amazing and good service costumer Thank you so much

I love this location, I had the lemongrass and chilli tofu and this was THE BEST tofu dish I've had anywhere. Great staff, location and atmosphere. They have happy hour and my picky 3 yr old also liked the rice and cocoon prawns.
