88 Chicken topokki, has been one of our favourites since I was pregnant. I would always crave for their food, the hot pot, the chicken , the rice and their side dishes.until now my daughter is 6 years old it is still our absolute favourite. Back in the day the side dishes were unlimited. Due to cost of living I guess they had to stop it cause like myself I could probably get it refilled 3 times.

The owners (husband and wife , along with their daughter) manage the place well. Although it's only the two of them most of the time their quality of food never , I mean NEVER changes. Their strict but somewhat friendly approach is normal for fast paced restaurants like these.

However, on their busy periods being low staff means that the food does take longer. As this may be a negative I believe the food is worth the wait. What I am also amazed about it, how the owners especially the woman owner never seems to age. Keep up the good work! You guys are doing amazing admist what the world has gone through. I pray that God continues to bless your business and that you don't loose touch of good customer service because your food is already amazing.

There is a lot to say about this place. BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN. Their hot pots are the best I’ve EVER had. And I’m a picky eater.

10/10 for customer service. Staff are always friendly and accomodating. I keep coming back because they are consistently kind and make you feel welcome and relaxed.

10/10 for value for money. Portions are generous and yummy.

10000/10 for taste. I am more than satisfied every time I dine here. The food is too too too good. Your taste buds will thank you. The BBQ and chicken are yummy. The hot pots (the soup) 🤤🤤🤤 I mean thinking of it makes me hungry.

Go try their food and thank me later. 😊😉

Really loved the food here. They have a range of topokki dishes which I found hard to find in brisbane. The lady allowed us to have the small serving of fried chicken for dinner even if the pamphlet said it was only for lunch. Nice American diner like atmosphere. Parking space right in front of the restaurant. Portion size generous. Food is good flavour, spicy and served in hot bowls.

There is a surcharge for credit card use and it’s .50c for containers. They give you side dishes and bowl of rice for free but no refills due to rise in cost of food.

topokki 88 is such a cute restaurant, I l o v e their grilled sizzling bbq pork, everything is always really tasty here, tteokbokki is also nice and their beef stew has barely any noodles but is so so flavourful. last time we went it was 40 min to close time and the waitress didn't seem very happy to serve us however we were served very quickly and left before close, not sure if it's because we were the last customers or not but they PILED a whole mountain of chicken onto a plate for us. we ordered 4 dishes for 5 people plus rice and went home with 3 takeaway containers.

We came at 5:45, hoping to beat the rush. But it looked like every other table had thought the same. The staffs’ composure were so well during this rush. We were seated outside in crowded area. Whenever we asked the staff for things they may have forgotten, we were always treated kindly.

Our food took a while to come out but it’s super delicious. Worth the wait? Depends how hungry you are.

Anyway, great composure during a busy rush. Food still came out in an acceptable timeframe. Do yourself a favour and skip Mr. Bap and come here. The hotpot is so much better.

I didn't expect that ddekbboki is delicious
However it was so great.. I sometimes went there something Korean food but Never try ddebboki. I found great restaurant for ddekbboki. So happy to have all what I ordered . I will definitely come back to try another ddekbboki.

For a place that's named themselves after topokki, their fried chicken is actually on-point.

Loads of flavours to choose from, and super crispy - worth a revisit just to try all the flavours!

No frills little restaurant is almost a takeaway shop but with seats. However for a quick lunch this place is great. Been here twice and really like the chicken. The chilli is actually sweet, however I think you can ask them to make it spicy. Staff seem friendly and topped up our side dishes for us (as they do in Korea). Though they can get pretty busy at times.

Food has always been fantastic. Service is not too bad. No smiles. Lol.

It's a really nice gem of a place, their original fried chicken is just something else, it's unbelievably good. The lady who works there is very proud of what they make. The place is rather small for its customer base but you can always get takeaway.

The chicken here was really good. I ordered half original and half soy. They were both fantastic. The space indoors was quite tight and during peak hours, it gets extremely busy. Food took a while to come out of the kitchen but it was definitely worth it. Give this place a go!

Who doesn't like some good old KFC (Korean friend chicken) Got some take away KFC 3 ways. Original, sweet/spicy and soy honey which was absolutely delicious! Also got spicy pork stirfry udon noodles!! Great place to dine in or takeaway!!

Food is really tasty esp the sweet chilli Korean fried chicken! I love the little side dishes they give. Definitely recommend. Oh and definitely get the cheese corn…it is amazing!

We live close by and come here all the time. I've read some of the other reviews saying how the wait staff and manager are rude but I have to disagree. They do their job well - considering how busy they almost always are, they are efficient and quick. They might not chat and make friendly concersation but im there for the food anyway. Speaking of, the fpod is delicious. We have tried a wide variety of items from the menu and everything is always super delicious. Price is reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. Probably my favourite Korean place in Sunnybank. Definatley worth a try.

Been here many times, always great food and large servings. I love this place, it's one of the best Korean places in Brisbane. Note this place doesn't have Korean BBQ (where you fry the meat yourself) however they have everything else including hotpot etc.

The lunch special is quite worth it. Me and my friends did enojoy the foods. Will definitely come again

Amazing service and delicious, fresh food. Ordered korean fried chicken and kimchi pork soup.

Good portion size and tasted amazing. I got the sweet Chili chicken and rice at lunch time. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a lady who was serving a customer. Customer service was on point! Wait time was relatively fast. Definitely recommend this place.

I ordered for takeaway. Food is delicious and well priced for the portion size!
