Malaya Corner

Great value for large portions of quality food. My group came in and ordered a lot of dishes, expecting small serves but this place delivered with portion size whilst maintaining delicious quality. Perfect for semi large groups. The establishment itself was clean and staff were friendly.

Such delicious food, authentic flavours with a kick, dessert was very yummy , food was served promptly, staff friendly, it was rather busy for a mid-morning. We will be back next time to try your other dishes, very generous portions too.

Amazing food, very busy but still had our food within 30mins. It was delicious and worth the wait.

We were at market square for lunch and had actually chosen a different place to eat. We went to order there, but they were out of many of the things we wanted so we left.
We then moved on to Malaya corner. It was a much better alternative. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to a table. At first we weren't happy with the table as it was cold under a vent. The staff were happy to oblige, moving us to a warmer spot.
The waiter was attentive, taking our order as soon a we were ready.
The food came out fairly promptly, although delivery to the table was staggered, which isn't as good as it could be.
But, that didn't matter, the food was delicious. The serving sizes were bigger than expected, so made for great value. We had 3 meals for 3 people, but could have served 4 with the food we had.
Definitely will put this place on the list of places to return to.

Food was pretty good, portions were nice. I ordered more food, expecting small portions and ended up in a food coma.

This was AMAZING!! Loved everything they brought out and the staff were very friendly. A must do! Portions are very generous and flavoursome. Had the Ipoh chicken with Hor Fun in soup and the Tom Yam Seafood Mixed Vermicelli in Soup. Will DEFINITELY COME BACK. Strongly reccomend. Self serve cold water freely available at counter.

Great visit today. Lot of changes since the original owner. Still my place to go. The Spanish iced coffee need improvement, hardly taste the coffee. Overall, staff was helpful and food was nice ☺

Delicious Malaysian food here. I got the Dry curry Mee. The egg noodles had so much flavour to them, the Asian green were cooked to perfection. For a moment there I thought I was in Downtown Kuala Lumpur eating tasty local cuisine.

Big portions and the laksa and curry is very good. Definitely worth a visit for generous feed.

Every time we go, eat in or takeaway it is always amazing food, having grown up in Malaysia for 25yrs I find this place very authentic, service is excellent and always a busy place

One of my favourite restaurants in Sunnybank. If we just talk about Malaysia style restaurant, this is the absolutely best one. Not too mention that I have been to few other Malaysia restaurants around Sunnybank. Malaysia corner is always the winner. My goal is to try every single dish there. Half way to go.

Had the Nasi Lemak for dinner tonight and it was delicious. Large serving size and the food came out super quickly. The beef rendang was so yummy. I will order a big bowl of that next time. Alcohol was a little overpriced so I stuck with tea. I'll definitely come back!

The nasi lemak was fantastic. Didn't like the salt and pepper crab. The seafood char kway teow was too spicy and tasted burnt but the Hainanese steamed chicken with rice was the best out of the lot. I recommend you definitely try that one. The drink, which was iced chocolate with ice cream and whipped cream was a complete disaster because as it melted, the ice engulfed the whipped cream and ice cream and you couldn't continue consuming it at all. I also ordered the Satay skewers, both chicken and beef and they weren't bad but they soaked them in peanut sauce so it was hard to discern the individual flavours. Lastly I also tried the curry puff and that was delicious 😋 Absolutely Loved that one for sure!

Living on the north side I don't get here often but, I've been coming here since 1999. Popped in tonight for hainan chicken rice and was not disappointed! 10/10 Just as good as it always is!

This is the best Malaysian restaurant in Brisbane. I absolutely love the Nasi Lemak. The staff is super friendly, and the dine-in experience is excellent.
