The lovely manager, Lauren, is so helpful. I head there a lot to send my parcels and mail - it is a local, small outlet of an Australia Post and ideal if you need stamps/ most types of parcel packaging. There is also a divine range of candles and a large assortment of gifts for all occasions. There's a good selection of stationery, gift wrap and cards as well. I'd say an all round easy stop off. Best to park in Woolies and walk the few doors up to it.

I called to find out if they accepted pre-paid parcels and the lovely young lady who answered the phone was an absolute delight! Yes, I agree, the old owners were AWFUL

The shop has a lovely range of cards, magazines, gift-ware, papers, stationery, lotto, scratchies and postal services. The staff are also very friendly.

I went in to get Go Card credit as well as grab a magazine. The woman behind the counter continued to type on the computer while I stood there waiting to be served. No smile at all. She put my one magazine in a paper bag (which is unnecessary!) and when I stated that I did not need it in a bag I noticed she rolled her eyes. I paid for my items, she gave my card back and didn't say anything else to me before serving the person behind me. I then had to reach over and take my magazine OUT of the paper bag and leave that on the counter. Poor customer service!

I will never go back to this shop. The lack of empathy given to my recently widowed elderly mother when paying a slightly overdue account was shameful. The lady behind the counter (who by the way can not spell - but I guess that is not a crime) was so rude. She showed great disrespect to my mother who explained the reason for the slight tardiness on payment of the account was due to the death of her husband. My mother left in tears and in shock. Shame on you. You don't deserve people's business.

Don't waste your time here! The old hag behind the counter is plain rude & doesn't understand the concept of good customer service! You're better off going the other newsagent next to Coles Ashgrove!! At least they know how to smile & greet their customers!!!

The old lady and young tall guy lack basic customer service. Not even sure what they are doing in the Customer service realm.
