Claypot fusion 煲仔王

I really enjoyed the food at clay pot fusion. The service was pretty low key which may not suit people wanting fancier staff and service.

We had a soup started and 2 main meals.

Abalone and chicken soup:
The flavour of this soup was good. There were 2 pieces of abalone and lots of pieces of chicken with bones. We ate through this very quickly.

Clay pot lamb:
Great flavour with great textures. A good mix of fatty and lean lamb. The carrots were probably added at the end and were harder without the absorbed flavour. Lamb was the key, with lots of sauce to mix into the rice.

Chinese pork sausage / cured pork:
Good mix of Chinese pork sausage and cured pork on a bed of glutinous rice. The rice stuck on the side of the clay pot is the best way to finish the dish.

Freshly made, served hot, very delicious food. Friendly and relaxed service staff, very nice people. The restaurant is cool and clean too. Will definitely be back again, was so impressed today with the freshly made rice and yummy bowl of food

This place has no right to be as good as it is, but here we are.

Will try the steamed soup next time!

Had beef noodle soup, braised lamb rubs, congee, and cold spicy noodle salad (liang pi - ordered it because it sounded cute haha). Everything was tasty and served hot AF.

Might be a tad too ethnic for those not too familiar with traditional Chinese flavors, still five stars!!

Very authentic Cantonese restaurant, I found the taste of my home town and childhood memories here.
They have the best "Chiang Fun" (steamed rice rolls) in Brisbane. Much Much better than those Chiang Fun in Yumcha.
The claypot rice has the crispy rick on the bottom, it's a big surprise to me. I don't mind to wait that 15 minutes or longer for it. It's worth to wait.
Certainly will come back, they are one of best favour restaurant in Sunnybank.

Fresh food! Sweet staffs! Love this dish! Highly recommended!

I tried their famous prawn rice noodle rolls, which were delicious! I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes. Staff are helpful and polite, and the food seems very authentic.

Have been eating there a few days in a row now. Love it all and good value for your money. Ignore the low ratings and try for yourself.

Food not bad, friendly staff. Somehow they managed to forget my order🤣. Girlfriend like the place.

Had the Cantonese style of clay pot rice. Was delicious and would get again. Rice was crispy at the base and toppings were plentiful and savoury.

Big fan of the Cantonese clay pot dish so was keen to try. The flavour was awesome but I thought the meat portion was a bit small especially considering the price. The Sunnybank oriental restaurant still takes the cake for best claypot.

Still early days so these guys may improve. Will come back again after a few months.

Ample parking, make sure you get in early else due to the time it takes to cook the claypot, you may be waiting a while.

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Taste, zero. Value for money zero. Took half hour for something that should take about five minutes. When the food arrived it was boiling hot and was mostly water. For the price I could have made it myself for $2.50 that's how cheated I felt. Wasted nearly an hour I would never get back.

When i order, i was told claypot with rice in it can take a long time to cook. I was told to order dish with rice separate. Well, i had to wait 45 minute and check with with the waiter 4 times for my dish. I would say the service is worse ever. And the flavour isnt worth the wait. Eat it only if u got whole day to wait

Really bad experience in here. It took me half an to wait for my dishes and they tasted just so so. The reason why it took so long was the staff forgot my order. Never come back again.

Food isn't fresh at all. Everything tasted bland. The ingredients used were cheap. Waited ages for the food and it was so disappointing. Don't recommend coming here at all.
