Golden Hole (Biggs Recreational Reserve)

What an amazing and beautiful place to sit and relax or do a little exploring. Toilets and undercover picnic tables, huge grassed area, good parking and the scenery is beautiful, worth popping in for a look and spend a few minutes or hours in the golden hole area

Hard walk if you are just a social walker. Did about 7klm up towards the falls, but didn't succeed in getting there, had to turn back in order to beat the sunset. Got leached attacked😞🚶😁👍

Stopped in just have a look and was blown away at the beauty. Absolutely stunning scenery. Will be going back better prepared for a bit longer stay next time

Amazing clear water.
Wish I could've kayaked though.
The crocodile sign wasn't worth ignoring.
Do yourself a favour and drive a bit further up when you've been to Josephine Falls.
Picnic table for spending a bit of quiet time.

Beautiful Place. You can not swim here. There is Crocodiles.

Absolutely wonderful place but has it changed over the years, from getting through a barbed wire fence & a few hundred meter trek through very tall grass, to now a very open easy access, with very close parking.
I guess that’s what happens over time as more & more people know about it & it becoming more popular, but as with lots of these places over time the Crocs are getting back into more places so have to be very aware of this.

I got lost in a hidden path that I followed for 1h15min, it was an amazing walk, but I wasn't prepared and haven't got watter at all, no battery after 30min and didn't eat since 18hours 😅 it's apparently a 17km path, want to fo it again! Prepared.

Pretty recreational facility with a pretty swimming holes and a picnic area

Very peaceful and quiet place, I deal for picnic not sure about swimming with the warning sign of crocodiles

Beautiful place to take the family for a refreshing swim. It has a BBQ area and a shelter with table and chairs to sit and eat.

Lovely spot and you can go fishing on the creek. There is a decent camp ground with basic facilities.
