The Boulders free Camping Ground

Very good camping area. Nice place, good bathrooms, everything clean. Try to get there early to get a spot.

Well positioned campsite, with easy walking distance to the boulders swimming areas and walking trails. Highly recommend the bush track to Babinda Falls.

Thank you Babinda for this awesome free camp. What a beautiful spot looking up to the mountains and surrounded by rainforest. We've stayed for the 3 nights and taken a stroll every day down to the swimming holes (100m walk). Toilets and showers are great, bins on site as well. Only 8 sites but people were more than happy to share the space around.

this secret place can fill quickly - very clean toilets and free cold shower - a very short stroll to the swimming hole with crystal clear waters - child's play area - ticks a lot of boxes

What a gorgeous place. Right next to the creek and the boulders. Incredible views along the walkways and nice and peaceful in the campsite.

Excellant swimming and amenities, not a lot of sites for caravans so get in early.

Very easy place to stop overnight. Just before the famous Babinda Boulders. It has Shower and fits camper caravan or tent.

Parking for everyone here from motorbikes to caravans and even my prime mover, well done Cairns Council well thought out and free camping for 3 days or so

A quiet, peaceful spot close to the water hole (a few hundred metres). Clean toilet and cold water shower. Space for about a dozen vehicles, but come early at morning changeover to secure a spot as it's very popular.

Awesome location and great facilities! Flushing toilets, toilet paper, cold showers and BBQs just down the road. Bugs galore but totally worth it when you can just walk down to the boulders for a swim. Only down side is that there was no drinking water tap at the camp grounds so come prepared with fresh water

Camping area with cold showers an limited spots. 4 minutes walking you have a park with a huge swimming are in the river, very children friendly, BBQs, parking, toilets and change rooms.

Nice little hike. Family and picnic friendly. Club this with Josephine falls if you are in cairns.

Great campsite, well looked after with tap for washing up, cold showers (nothing to complain about!)
No pets at this one to protect local fauna and your own pets. Please adhere to the rules to protect our native species.

Beautiful spot. Water hole near by is absolutely beautiful. We stayed with friends on the twin site and had no issues.

Fantastic camp and a credit to those who maintain it. We stopped with our 20foot van and had plenty of room to both park and turn around. Short walk to the Boulders. Highly recommend.
