Great spot. Good fishing. No real land based activities but it's very nice to have an unspoiled island so close to Brisbane. Go wet a line and catch a snapper :)

Interesting island 5 miles east of Brisbane River mouth. mangroves and some sandy beaches.
Great shelter in close for boats in South Easterly or any wind except a westerly

Always a nice surprise to see how much Coral exists in this shallow area of Moreton Bay. I can certainly see why it has been successfully listed as a #missionblue hope spot.

went out with the boat and did some average fishing around the island. Be aware of the tides and weather. Wind changes quickly off the Moreton Bay open water.
