Nawabi plate is price-worthy. Easily fills 5 and affordable.
Their Irani chai is something to talk about. No wonder to say people travel 40kms to have their cup of tea

I bought chicken biryani and it was mouth watering and freshly made. Family and kids loved it. Not very spicy

gosh the foods awesome.
Pro tip .
1) Be courteous to the Staff at the serving counter. She runs the Pista show.
2) The chicken Manchurian I would eat for breakfast lunch and dinner.
3) You can place an order on the Phone without paying , BUT DONT YOU DARE SAY I WOULD JUST LIKE 1 INSTEAD OF 2.

Our visit to Pista House was primarily centered around our love for their mutton biryani, as it always has been. We opted for the Nawabi plate, and what we received was a generously-sized plate of biryani, with the mutton pieces tucked beneath the fragrant rice and a serving of chicken 65 pieces on top.

The biryani itself was a standout – perfectly cooked with the right balance of flavors and spices. The aroma alone was enough to whet our appetites, and the chicken 65 served alongside it was nothing short of perfect, a delightful accompaniment to the biryani.

However, there was a minor setback in this otherwise delectable experience. The mutton pieces, which are usually the highlight of the dish, were somewhat disappointing. They had a slightly rubbery texture, which was unexpected and took away from the overall enjoyment of the biryani.

In summary, Pista House continues to excel in delivering a delectable biryani experience, and the chicken 65 was a pleasant addition. While the mutton biryani's flavor was on point, the texture of the mutton pieces left a bit to be desired. It's still a great place to satisfy your biryani cravings, but it might be worth keeping in mind the texture of the mutton when you visit.

I was in this restaurant with my 70+ year-old uncle and aunt. All of us loved Tandoori chicken, lamb curry, and Naan, lamb biryani, Mango lassi, and Irani Chai. All foods had very authentic tastes. Abrar Khan provided us with the best service he could offer. I asked for his name for this review. The restaurant needs an upgrade inside, new furnitures and cutleries. It's very affordable. I paid $75 for the food I mentioned above with two bottles of water for three of us.

Best biryani in Sydney. The atmosphere doesn't give you the warmth to dine, but the food is delicious. Takeaway is the best option and that's what sells the most. Gulab jamun is so delicious that you can't stop eating.

Best Haleem, Hyderabad chicken biryani and 65 biryani in Sydney. People from Hyderabad will love the taste. Best option is to take away and eat at home, not recommended for Dine in due to Small and busy place. They should improve a lot on Quality and customer service.

Front desk staff is super friendly. They not only look after order details but also help customers beyond the requested service. Good choice for individual or family dinning. But the mutton biryani quality is not consistent.
Highly recommend customer service.

If you are a lover of Hyderabadi biryani/food then you cannot afford to miss this place. Call me biased if you want but there is no better biryani then Hyderabadi dum biryani and no other place in all of Greater Sydney that does is better than Pista house Wenty. And I'm not saying this after a single visit, we've been having their biryani for over a year atleast once a month on an average, yes we love this dish, and never once has the taste varied. For all the biryani lovers out there do yourself a favour and next time you want to have your favourite dish head to this place.

Superb food. Great taste but a bit expensive. During busy times there might be a bit of wait. Its halal certified.

I am from Hyderabad and I always loved going to this restaurant and its branch in Lakemba. The closest taste I could find in Sydney to the authentic hyderabadi dishes is here. I don't worry much about other things like customer service etc. My favs here are Biryani, Haleem (available weekends only) and Qubani (desert).

My friend recommended me to visit this place for Briyani. We visited Pista house yesterday. Briyani was very yummy, different taste that usual Shan Masala Briyani or Desi Student Briyani shops. We told them we want mild spicy and they did listen to our instructions. Loved the Briyani. It was one of the weekends when we enjoyed good food Haha! Staff was very cooperative.
Absolutely delish briyani

Highly recommended!

I'm a big foodie & a big fan of chai. This is one of the best places to have chai. I have tried some chais from many other places but this place has one of the best tasting chai. The front staff always greets us with the biggest smile. And they look after every situation very professionally. And it's a very clean restaurant to add to that.
