Churrocafe

After discovering Churrocafe on Facebook, we couldn't resist making it our first stop upon arriving in the Gold Coast from Sydney. And it didn't disappoint!

The Choripan was mouthwateringly delicious, and the empanadas were spot on. Plus, the service was friendly and welcoming. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We ordered a choripán (chorizo, salsa and toasted bread) and one beef empanada. As soon as we took one bite, we went back and ordered a second empanadas. Food was delicious! Home made taste 💯 Also we bought chimichurri (salsa) to bring at home

What a lovely surprise to discover this incredible Argentinian Cafe at the Carrara Markets. 🇦🇷

We ordered one choripan, which is basically chorizo, chimichuri sauce, Argentinian mayo, in the softest Turkish style bread I've ever had the pleasure of eating. So good!

Then we had an asado-wrap which by some miracle was even more delicious. This had the most tender beef strips, thin slices of chorizo sausage, some light salad, grilled onion, mayo, and chimichuri sauce.

One small serve of churros with dulce de leche caramel was the perfect amount after our meals and drinks. The caramel was subtle and not super sweet.

The final morsel of ultimate deliciousness was the Alfajor, a delightful half wheat half cornflour masterpiece with the same incredible dulce de leche caramel sandwiched between two soft biscuits coated in dessicated coconut. Heaven.

I got the chivito and it was one of the best sandwiches ive ever had. Im definitely going to come back for another. I also enjoyed my large ice coffee.

Wow. The Uruguayan Chivito beef sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It’s going to ruin me for other sandwiches. The empanadas are incredible too ❤🤤

I only leave reviews if the place is either really bad or really good. This is one of my really good reviews.

We ordered two empanadas, chimichurri sauce, a South American omelette, and a pollo wrap (sorry, don’t remember the actual name!). All of it tasted awesome.

This might be one of the best places to eat in Gold Coast. Loved it, will be back soon!

So happy to have found this cafe! Best choripan I had ever :-) I am still thinking about it…yum! Churros are excellent too. I can’t wait to try the beautiful empanadas and the rest of the menu. Excellent service, lovely people y comida muy rica!!!

Probably the best South American street food in Gold coast.
The sandwich tastes delicious! You can taste the culture and love they put into this place.

I used to live in Miami, Florida US years ago and could get empanadas on every corner. I was having a craving for them this morning and came to Churrocafe for the first time! The empanadas were great (especially the picante!), my daughter's loved the churros, and husband grabbed the Chorripan! Everything was sooooo YUMMY! And the staff were super friendly! We will be back!

A hidden gem in the Carrara markets. The ChurroCafe is a fantastic place to eat. The food is authentic South American and the taste is delicious. We spent the morning shopping at Carrara and thought we would grab a coup,e of churros at the cafe. Instead we decided to stay for lunch and was not disappointed. We had 3 different meals and all 3 hit the mark for taste and quality. If you are in the vicinity, I would recommend you drop in for a bite of authentic South American food.

Wendy and Fabian have created something beautiful at Carrara Markets for people to enjoy and taste the best of Latin America! Great churros! Highly recommend the ice-cold homemade lemon drink on a hot day!

Everytime we go to the markets we have to stop by this place. Ultimate dessert heaven. Churros taste authentic and the coffee is delicious. Best churros ever. The staff are always so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend this hidden gem. 2 Thumbs up!

What a great haven of South America - apart from excellent coffee and hot chocolate, you can have churros, empanadas, chimichurri, dulce de leche, choripan etc etc!! Plus of course great latin music, (even a bit of space to salsa!!)

AMAZING!! I’ve been searching for good churros around the Gold Coast and no other place compares! Definitely coming back to try the rest of their food. Staff were so lovely as well
