Gumnut Bakery/Café

I love this bakery they have been in Mudgeeraba for ever. Their baked goods are sensational, fresh and delicious. The service is unsurpassed and always with a smile. Every one needs to treat themselves to this bakery at least once.

Coming from a kiwi girl this is the first time in 11 years i found a mince and cheese pie that has hit the spot!!! And im picky when it come to my pies Omg how did i live in mudgy and not know?!!

Depending on who you listen to, the vegetarian population of Australia sits somewhere around the 10- 14percent mark. It is amazing how hard it is to find good vegetarian takeaway food. So, we were delighted to try the Gumnuts cafe broccoli and cauliflower pie for lunch. Wonderful. Great pastry and the filling was very nice.
Okay, we sneaked in a caramel slice and a beesting too which also were very nice. These guys can bake!
I noticed they do gluten free cakes for those of that persuasion.
The other thing you could not miss is the five workers I could see were all smiling and seemed genuinely happy. They were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

A local and tried for the first time their white loaf of bread and surprised how amazing it was! I usually only do bakers delight for the quality now but this place has great sandwich bread! Doesn't look it but its a hidden gem

Their in demand, oft sold out, white caterer's loaf is bigger than required for a sandwich, meaning that when you make a sandwich you get 50% more sandwich per sandwich. While this is almost always a positive, it may not fit into the average jaffle iron, meaning you'll need to make your slightly too large toasted sandwiches in a 'cafe press' style heating element or alternatively trim the crusts off if a jaffle iron is all that is available.

The deserts are also excellent. Anybody who says the fresh cream birthday sponge is only for actual birthdays has never been really, really sad in their entire life.

I always get my bread from here, it’s the most fresh and delicious tasting bread i’ve ever tried. The amazing staff member kim is so nice and friendly, she always leaves a smile on everyone’s face. The cakes here are delicious!!!!! Great prices and great variety.

Only buy my bread here. It's the best. Pies & cakes delicious but please bring back Custard Cannolis

The girls here are seriously sooo smiley, happy and overall their service is impeccable. I cannot say anything negative of all the times I have been there to get coffee!

They are often very busy when I come and order and always greet you and let you know they won’t be long to serve you. Other GC Est. Could learn a lot from the service they provide. Thanks for being awesome.

The best bakery on the coast IMHO for pies, pasties, sausage rolls etc and yummy cakes and pastries. Great coffee, good service and also lovely fresh rolls and sandwiches. Many different breads to choose from.
A hidden gem.

One of the best almond cappuccino’s I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on the Gold Coast for 20 years. A whole range of freshly baked goods to go with it. Veggie pastries too!

Best bakery ever! The selection is huge and they always have birthday /celebration cakes pre made ready to go.. So handy. Cauliflower and broccoli pie is a must.Yum

Best bread in Mudgeeraba get the caterers white just wow you will not regret it. Also the sausage rolls are so good to !

Love to meet with friends here. It's a virtual community hub for locals. Great food and staff, very accommodating to anyone eating alone or a group.

Stopped off on the way to the theme parks. Awesome lunch. I went for toasted BLT. My wife and a magnificent salad sandwich.
