I bought a regular sized beef pho, it was good sized, not too salty, no msg taste is fresh.
Not comparable to Cabramatta style pho but I would happily eat here again. The noodles were fresh, as were other ingredients. The broth was a bit diluted, but still ok.

If you order takeaway they package the broth separately from the other ingredients.
This place is card only, no cash accepted.
There is seating available but it is pretty limited so don't expect to get a place to sit down.

Incredibly indulgent, rich, gorgeous pho, and gluten free (inc soy sauce). Hipster fancy pho can be a little delicate but this was just off the charts. And reasonably priced!

The best Vietnamese salads hands down. I could eat their chicken salad every day. The fresh rolls are packed full of flavour. All the ingredients are fresh and now it’s just a matter of working my way through their menu. Highly recommended, beautiful fitout.

Hands down the best Pho is Sydney! I’ve been going to the Bar Pho stand at the Bondi markets for years and am so happy they opened another shop in the CBD meaning I can get a Pho fix outside of just Saturday. The broth is amazing and the special chilli sauce is legendary. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Always fresh and always delicious. Definitely recommend!

The number of 1 and 2 star reviews are a bit rough imo. I reckon this is one of the better bowls of pho you will find in the CBD. Definitely worth trying

Always delicious, love buying my lunch here. Just wish they used less plastic in their packaging and encouraged customers to go without unnecessary plastic items.

Amazing Banh Mi and even better Pho, my favourite is definitely the Honey Sesame Pork salad.

The lemongrass pho is amazing. Building on an already rich and wholesome beef broth this lemongrass variant takes the flavour somewhere new and amazing. Bar Pho is open for breakfast and lunch, and is ideal for a morning winter warmer. There’s ample seating but it’s best for small groups or couples. Find it tucked in the northern walkway beneath Barrack Place.

I really enjoy the food here! The spicy lemongrass Pho is my favourite, full of flavour and always taste fresh.

Pho was so-so. Ordered the small masterbeef and it was a bit small for 12 aud. Broth was good but beef slices was normal, even bland. Far cry from what you would get from Nem Viet

Came here for a work day lunch in the newly opened Barrack Place. There was a healthy queue outside on a Friday which was a good indication that it’s a popular lunch spot. The staff are quite efficient though and food is served quiet easily especially with pho noodle soup where all the soups were ready to be scooped and poured over the noodles and choice of fillings.
I was keen to try the ‘master broth’ which contained the signature 18 hr beef broth with sliced beef and brisket. I chose the large for $14 as it was more a normal sized bowl of pho that I’m used to.
The amount of meat and accompaniments was a decent size for the price which I was happy with and there were the right amount of noodles. The broth which I was very much looking forward to trying lacked the deep and fragrant beef broth flavour I was expecting from one that’s been cooked for 18hr. I kept trying more broth, even had added the side dish of herbs and squeeze of lemon to try enhance the broth but in all honesty, it was e trembly bland. I don’t normally add hoisin sauce to my pho but I did use some additional sauce to enhance the flavours. Maybe it was a batch of pho broth that hadn’t been cooked for long enough on this occasion? Nonetheless I can’t say I’m going to visit again anytime soon.

Decided to try out Bar Pho 2.0! Firstly it's hard to find. It's hidden away to one side of Barrack Place. Not impressed by both the service or quality of the food. No air conditioning for an extremely days and minimal seating available.

Staff were friendly... well just!

It's slightly more expensive here too compared to their other popups and restaurant in wintergarden. Not quite sure why but I'll be going back to their wintergarden restaurant instead. At least I can eat comfortably in the wintergarden food court.

I had high hopes as broadsheet reviews spoke highly of this restaurant chain. Unfortunately my expectations weren't met and quite frankly it was quite disappointing.
Good bits:
Fresh herbs, bean sprouts, chilli and noodles. Nice atmosphere. People working are authentically Vietnamese (good sign for authentic pho?)
Bad bits:
Broth was completely underwhelming. It tasted more like a clear stock made mostly with onions, salted with fish sauce. Nothing beefy about the broth.
Portions were terribly skewed for the large size ( lots of broth, meat/noodle seem similar to that of small ).
Ice coffee is bitter, and the bean is not your traditional trung ngyuen brew.
