Dr Rosemary Ambler

Dr Ambler is amazing have been seeing her for 17 years for multiple children and I can not fault her. Extremely sad that she is retiring.

My 2 daughters have been seeing Dr Rosemary Ambler for almost 4 years and have always received the best of care and support. Dr Rosemary Ambler has helped so much with my eldest who needs NDIS funding.

I haven’t had any huge issues with Dr Ambler and over the years of seeing her, either I have mellowed out or she has, or both, as I use to think her approach was a little bit aggressive. But once I found out if you are doing all the right things, being proactive, speak at a similar level as her and holistically look after your child (BPSS) she appears to be less “you need to this and this and that” which can be quite confronting to some people.

The only gripe I have is the running late or if another client runs late, and the poor thing is trying to catch up.

Dr Ambler was amazing with my little girl and also noticed personal issues I was having as a first time mum. She gave me a set of instructions to follow that helped improved things immensely. Highly recommend.

Dr Ambler is a well trusted professional. She truly cares for her clients and she has given me great peace of mind for my daughter. I know she is in good hands.

Do not let these pediatricians put your child on fake spectrum and sell you Ritalin for big pharma companies.

The worst paediatrician ever, Dr. Rosemary Ambler is very dismissive and would diagnose your kid without complete assessment or investigations.
We had a full blood test requested for bubba in February and only got it sent to us in June, after numerous calls and lies that the results were not complete . The result had been sent to Dr.Ambler by the lab since April! the reason they withheld the result is baffling to me. The receptionist also stated that only half of the result came out which read 'normal' but after I requested for a copy. The result wasn't normal and it was indeed complete. I think they just want your kids really sick then send you to NDIS. Because that's the only advice she gave during first and only appointment.
If you want your kids situation to get worse go to Dr.Ambler Rose. PS the blood test had all the answers to bubbs health issue and can be fixed easily.

Terrible doctor, receptionist and practice. The receptionist is rude, outdated and although having a digital referral right infront of her wouldn’t allow my son to see the dr until I had it printed, only when the dr intervened did she reluctantly allow us to do so. Dr ambler requested tests to be done in hospital for my son and did not book them in even after several attempts to call and follow up and pretty much just forgot him until another dr called to request them again. Since then have left several voice messages and tried calling the practice and cannot get an appointment just to receive the results! Dr herself also has no people skills and is absolutely not a child friendly doctor. Would not recommend at all!

The reason im writing this review is not for the practice's being held but for not even being allowed to book an appointment because apparently me or my wife have cancelled a previous appointment.

This was hard to believe because We have NEVER contacted the office, this was the first time. We saw reviews were great and wanted the very best for our son but the way I was spoken to and treated i won't tolerate sorry.

Time for this practice to find a more polite and suitable secretary... the one you have needs to go 👋

The place looks like it haven’t been cleaned before. The carpet is discussing and the chairs are dirty. Will definitely find somewhere else next time

There are more Paediatrician in the area... don't waste your time or energy here

Told my Daughter my Grand-daughter was constipated, ended up in westmead childrens hospital needing a bowel reconstruction, would not trust her with my own child

Very rude receptionist. Would definitely not want to make an appointment for my child here.
