I highly recommend Yogie’s Playhouse for their exceptional care and dedication to children! The staff is incredibly nurturing, creating a warm and safe environment where my child thrives. The educational activities are engaging, promoting both learning and social development. Communication with parents is excellent, providing updates and feedback regularly. I feel confident leaving my child in their capable hands each day.

Choosing a childcare is an incredibly difficult thing as you are trusting your children with people who begin as strangers. Yogies Playhouse staff have become an extension of our family, well trained and caring staff who go above and beyond my expectations to build relationships with the kids. The things my two children learn and the experiences they have are exceptional. Highly recommend the centre. Access is entirely electronic with individual swipe access to the main door and personalised pin to sign the children out via the iPads in reception. Very safe security policies!

A friendly and welcoming environment. The centre has some well trained educators who deliver various education programs & over the years have given the care and support my child needed. I am glad to see how my child has developed going to this centre. The centre is always open to feedback and engages with parents in different forums. Well done Yogies, keep doing what you do !

Can't believe the negative review above. This daycare is incredible. It's actually like a family and the care they gave our son was impeccable. I even referred a friend to take her child there after she didn't like the way her original daycare was run and she also can't rave about it enough. My son had been to 2 day cares previously before coming to Yogie's and they were by far the best. They would have meaningful conversations with us about our son. The place is clean and the food is healthy and freshly made. The kids have a ball there and the Christmas Concert each year is organised so well. Our son left to go to Kindy and I cried. I've just had another baby and although I have moved out of the area, I'll be looking to send her to Yogie's when the time comes (vacancies permitting)

My son enjoys coming to Yogies. He looks forward to it. Coming to Yogies definitely helped with his independence and confidence. He loves the carers there and made friends.

On my first visit to the childcare, 3 educators were spotted frantically running around the building. I asked what the issue is and one of them said their bunny has escaped again.

On my sons first official day at the centre, one of the staff was dusting off using a blower while kids were playing in the backyard.

The director tried to charge us for the orientation day even though she had implied she wouldn't.

When came back in to pick up my son at around 11.30am on the same day, I opened the classroom door and almost stepped on a crawler who was right in front of me. Seemed to have been crying for a while and had not received any attention.

On the next day, I returned my son to the centre, this time they pulled out a thermometer as they mentioned they have a policy to do a temperature check on arrival. The educator would read the measurements out while the screen of the thermometer was facing away from me, he was 37.5 in one ear and 37.6 in the other and based on the readings they said I have to take my son back home immediately as he has fever and is sick. My son did not feel hot, wasn't sweaty and was full of energy as usual so I was surprised. They did not give my son a chance to settle, remove excessive clothing and drink water and remeasured after 15 minutes as per Health NSW guidelines. As soon as I got my son back home, I measured his temperature using the two thermometers I had at home, an underarm as well as infrared type. They both returned 36.4. I then took him to a GP where he returned similar readings and got examined by the doctor. The doctor issued a certificate to confirm he is healthy and also suggested that the childcare's thermometer can be faulty therefore advised to take my thermometers back to the centre the next day for cross checking.

After explaining the situation and providing evidence through emails to the director, she was adamant my son is sick and is not allowed back unless he gets tested and return negative result.

She kept on changing the topic and providing irrelevant answers. She failed to provide TGA or calibration certificate for her old looking thermometer. As she was challenged on many levels, she called us the next afternoon to say she has terminated our son because we do not respect her policies.

She returned our bond back in full however charged us for the days she insisted our son is sick despite all the evidence.

She makes rules to suit her and her business, she lies and makes stories once you caught her.
Five of her educators left her just before Christmas! No wonder, and she is using Covid as an excuse to not your child in as she doesn't have enough educators.
