Fitness First Canberra

I like going to this gym because:
- it’s convenient: I can park for free for 2 hours and no reason for not coming because of weather conditions
- great group classes : the timing is great after work and they have good trainers. My favourite is Marie who teaches pump on Fridays
- friendly staff - Joel is the best! Always so friendly & happy
- clean facilities
- varieties of gym equipment
- sauna
- it offers after hours access

This is an excellent gym with a wide range of facilities and training lessons. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Environment is clean and tidy. There is plenty of open space, which is different from other packed gyms.

Reasonably equipped chain gym under the Canberra Centre. Everything you need for a workout - plenty of racks, a few quality plate loaded, and some stack load machines. It is $25aud for day pass, which even by Australian standards is pricey, but the first session is free (which they honoured even though I was on in Canberra for a few days).

I absolutely love Fitness First! It's more than just a gym; it's a wellness haven. The moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted by their friendly and knowledgeable staff who made me feel right at home. The gym is impeccably clean and well-maintained, which is crucial for me. The range of equipment and workout classes they offer is outstanding; I never get bored with my fitness routine.
The community atmosphere at Fitness First is so motivating. Plus, their flexible membership options make it accessible for everyone. If you're looking for a gym that's not just about working out but also about overall well-being, Fitness First Canberra is the place to be!

As member of of Goodlife in Adelaide I recently had a 3 week trial while visiting family in Canberra thanks to the management and loved it. Really wish Fitness First was in Adelaide.

The staff is incredibly friendly. The equipment is top-notch and well-maintained, making my workouts effective and enjoyable. The gym's cleanliness and hygiene standards are impeccable. Plus, the variety of classes and training options cater to all fitness levels.

I've been a member of Fitness First Canberra for 2years now and I'm really happy with it. The gym is never too busy, even during peak hours, so I can always find a machine or weight to use. The gym also has good size change room and infrared sauna. Not too busy, Lots of equipment to choose even peak hours, Friendly and helpful staff, and Clean and well-maintained facilities and equipment.

We really love the wide selection of group classes available to almost anytime of the day. From a series of Les Mills classes namely Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Attack, Body Balance, CXWorx, HIIT, RPM, then there's Zumba, Yoga, Boxing and Athletic. Good shower, locker room and steam room facilities too. Try out the gym for a free 5-day pass.

I have been a member of the Fitness First Civic club for many years. Personally, it has been nothing shy of good experiences. From the helpful & welcoming staff at reception, diverse group fitness classes that match my lunchtime schedule with energetic & encouraging instructors, and clean & well-maintainted facilities. I always appreciate when I see, or someone else spots my, familiar Fitness First backpack whilst waiting for the tram, sharing and that unspoken dedication to a healthy mind and body.

Fitness First Canberra is awesome. Gordana, Baxter, Kim, Mickey and my favourite Joey are welcoming, friendly, approachable and always helpful. Dom, Personal Trainer, knows his stuff and is constantly pushing me. Enjoying Pilates sessions with Amanda and see this as a great bonus to my membership. Gym has a good range of equipment and is essential in keeping me physically and mentally healthy. Recommend highly.

Immensely great value for the quality of the equipment and especially the staff.

I came from a boutique gym program which catered to a smaller crowd daily, and my biggest worry coming here was the state of the facility and the amount of people.

Despite these fears, I’ve found the membership here incredibly flexible and welcoming; people are flex when it comes to swapping out; and the facility is maintained pristinely bar a few occasional out of orders whilst they be maintained (which don’t affect the variety).

I have managed to use or see a couple of other FF facilities, and this one (probably due to its relatively young age) is ahead of the rest so far.

The facility is located in the city centre and very convenient. Staff are really friendly and helpful. So many options for the exercise classes. The gym is really clean and huge areas.

Great gym. Feel like I can escape the world and just focus on exercise. Excellent instructors for rpm and body balance classes, and good weights room.

Besides the gym it self being fully equipped, tidy, and clean, Anna B and Krisztina make Pilates a whole lot more enjoyable. Although it is a class, they give individual instructions when needed. Highly recommend.
