Well maintained wet land and walking path. Also glimpsed many precious wildbirds there.

Lovely area with many different walks to choose from.
A croc has been spotted in the last 7 days so be aware.

Parking is easy, bring the mosquito repellent though! Amazing place to spot birds of all types!

Great place to watch wildlife and especially birds. Be aware that when going deeper into the wetlands, you might meet snakes and crocs (we saw both a red bellied black snake and a carpet python right next to the walkway)

Loved TYTO Wetlands, great walk around the wetlands. Birdlife incredible, well set out & a Bonus to be able to camp in the RV area.

Loved feeding the turtles! Also the boardwalk to the library was used often for our family! We stayed over night 2 nights in the self contained camping area (book at visitor centre it’s $10 a night). Loved getting to slow down and enjoy Ingham.

Such a treat to see all the wallabies at dusk and in the morning on the football field!

The loop walk through the wetlands is worth braving the mozzies. Saw lots of different birds. Well maintained walking paths. Lots of warning signs for crocodile, but didn’t see any (probably for the best).

An unplanned stop for us on our trip, but so glad we did!
The wetlands are beautiful, and much larger than we expected. The grass paths were nice and mowed when we visited.
We did spot a small croc from the first bridge, so keep your eyes peeled.
The information centre is wonderful too, with lots of displays. The boardwalk at the back of the information centre was lovely too, with a playground for the kids and sugar cane equipment on display.
Definitely worth visiting.

What a gem of a place. Decided we needed a rest day from our long drive from NSW south coast to Cape York and couldn't have picked a nicer spot

This has to be one of the best bird watching sites in Australia. 60 species I saw today. It is a beautiful location and such a joy to walk around.

Well laid out and utterly beautiful to spend time walking through. Plenty of benches in prime spots and even a proper bird hide. One od the tidiest places around, great work whomever maintains it, didn't see any rubbish at all not even a cigarette butt, really refreshing.

Loved it! Nice walk around the Wetlands. Lots of mosquitoes so put a very strong repellent before. You can definitely watch lots of birds.
