Called at 9pm and Glen was amazing. He booked us in and even met us out front to show us where to park. Our original plans fell through and with three young kids - two with autism, Glen went out of his way to get us settled. The room was spacious and the kids enjoyed the bath tub. I would recommend Lee's any day and to everyone! Will definitely stay here again.

Dropped in on Easter Monday for lunch. Pub is nice and clean with a nice display of some of the heritage of the area.
I had the seafood basket which was more than excellent. Great seafood, most impressed.
Others in the family had the crumb steak and spaghetti and they loved it.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend!
This has to be the most interesting hotel I have been to in Ingham. Its like walking into a museum. So much to look at and read about this lovely place. The staff are outstanding in their friendliness and efficiency. The dining room is outstanding. Very lovely setting, almost a little posh.
I'd fully recommend dining here on date night as something a little special.
The food was exellent. Definitely coming back.

Had to stop in for a beer having travelled up from Victoria. Great how a moment in history can have a lasting effect. Loved the beer and the historic character of the pub. Service was fantastic and friendly.

Travelling to Cooktown I pulled up here for a night cos I wanted somewhere to stay in the centre of town so I could have a look around. The young lady at reception was friendly and professional. She even offered me a secure spot to park my motorcycle overnight.
This place is a bit strange in that first impressions are deceiving. It's not the flashiest place in town but the staff are genuine and efficient. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. I ate at the bistro and it was a Friday night. There was a band playing, just old traditional favourites and the crowd loved the. The patrons were of a more mature age but we're so friendly it was worth noting. The food was simple but excellently prepared and great value.
In short: A lovely friendly place to have a meal on a Friday night and a reasonably good pub room if you want to stay overnight.
Recommended because of the staff and the atmosphere!
I'd definitely stay and eat here again.

I travelled here randomly one day and hung out at the bar solo. Dani at the bar was very friendly and chatty which kept me entertained, making me stay longer than I would have. Locals and other travellers were at the bar, giving a lively mix of different people. I tried the cocktails which I enjoyed and were created by Dani. It was a good night in a tiny town.

What a fantastic pub and so well run. There would be few Australians that have not heard the Slim Dusty song, The Pub With No Beer. Well this is the pub in that song. The poem was written by Dan Sheahan when he visted the pub and the Americans visiting had drunk it dry the day before. There is fantastic history and displays in Lees for you to learn all about that special time in Australian history. A very historical Australian hotel and a must visit. Glen, the owner is the nicest guy you could meet and made us feel so welcome. We called into the Royal Hotel before we found Lees hotel and couldn't believe the contrast from two different establishments virtually next door to each other. We were from out of town and the horrible little man in the Royal Hotel was so rude, unhelpful and nasty, compared to Glen in lees. It made the decision of where to eat and spend our money a very easy one. You couldn't pay us to drink in the Royal. Lees hotel on the other hand had Schooners for $5, compared to $7.50 in the Royal, 2 long happy hours including one later in the night when you really want it and of course the Royal had none. Fantastic food and great value too at Lees and the Royal rudely informed us that their kitchen was shut and not opening again today, at 3pm on a Friday, no kitchen that night, unbelievable. We could see why the Royal was empty and lees had a great crowd of loyal friendly locals. There is 2 pool tables in Lees and they are free, yes free to play. This pub gets better and better. Poor range of overpriced drinks in the Royal and no cider on tap. $5 schooners of 5 Seeds cider all day every day in Lees, what a contrast. So when visiting Ingham, don't make the mistake we did of going into the Royal Hotel first, Lees hotel leaves it for dead and is much more deserving of your hard earned money.

Always have a great time there if it’s just a casual beer at the bar or a Friday night at the pool table. Always good service but there is one thing I wish they just use the beer garden at the back more. it is so nice at the back

This pub is an Australian icon. its the only Australian Heritage listing in Queensland. You walked through the doors and its like stepping back in in time. But all the hotel rooms have been renovated. And it's guaranteed to never run out of beer again

Great place to stay while you're working, the meals are tasty and huge and relatively cheap, the rooms are clean and tidy, ensuites a little small and pokey. Only free to air TV, I love that it doesn't smell of cleaning chemicals, nothing worse than trying to sleep with that public toilet chemical smell, thru your room. I'll definitely recommend it. Book direct, cheaper than agencies.
