The Shores Holiday Apartments

Lovely, clean, well equipped apartment. The location is very quiet at night and the beach is really nice. We very much enjoyed our stay. Accidentally locked our keys inside one day but the caretakers living on sight happily came and got it sorted for us😊.

Great everything... location, hotel rooms/villas, hosts. A great getaway. Heaps of facilities, pools and close to beach on beachfront. Highly recommended and will be back. 11 out of 10

Had a wonderful timestay, owners very pleasant and helpful. Rooms big well equipped for stay, just bring your family, food and clothes etc. Beautiful beach right out front of park, lots of things at the place to keep kids occupied. Words from grandkids mouths " That was the best holiday, we're coming back here for longer a holiday." And those grandkids have been to many places for holidays. We had a party there and all the guests were impressed and enjoyed the place. Photos of HC unit we had, daughters unit was much the same except the bathroom.

Excellent location, secluded place, we had a full house to ourselves. TV & wi fi, fully fly screened with fans & air con if needed. We enjoyed our short 2 day stay on our travels up the coast to Magnetic Island & further. The 2 swimming pools and 2 plunge/kiddy pools making 4 in total in a secluded spot with sun loungers. A short walk of about 50 metres to a long secluded beach.

My husband and I stayed in a villa. The villa was very clean and tidy. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with Manicured gardens, felt like we were on a Pacific island. Will definitely be staying there again. Thanks again Terry.

Exceptional value and easily one of the most friendly places we have stayed in. Terry the manager, Anne his partner and the team do a great job of connecting so well and keeping the place well maintained. We stayed in villa 36, literally 50 m from the beach. The sunrise (and sunset) are amazing from the bench look out on the right of the resort. The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the showers are excellent with high pressure. Nice pool area but it was a bit cold to swim. Overall A+++. Highly recommend and we plan to be back for a longer stay

Ps: Mackay is an easy 20 min drive. We enjoyed the bike ride on the Blue Water Trail. You can hire the bikes from Corry Bicycles at the corner of Gordon and Milton. If you start early in the day you can cover quite a bit. The botanical gardens is worth spending couple of hours. Another “must do” is Lamberts Point at sunset. Amazing ambience. Eungella and Sarina are also good to visit. Cape Hillsboro is unique with wallabies and roos visiting the beach at sunrise

Enjoyed my stay . I found the whole experience exceptional from booking to departing. I was there for a wedding and booked a 2 brm apartment , the apartment was clean , beds comfortable and a very quiet area with the beach just over a little hill. Could hear the waves coming in. very enjoyable . I would recommend to anyone. Already have. Thank you Shores

The Shores Holiday Apartments are in such a beautiful location and beachfront! The booking process is very easy and accommodation is very clean. With 2 adult pools, 1 children's pool, tennis court, nature lookout and open grounds for the kids to play this is a great place to stay for a weekend or a week getaway.

The perfect place to stay beside the beach if you want to explore the Mackay region. A roomy and clean apartment with private access to a glorious beach. Sheltered parking and well appointed kitchen. We loved our stay.

We loved it. So spacious for our 4 kids. It was felt really homie. 1 Min walk to beautiful beach. Kids loved hop scotch. Downside is we never had enough time to enjoy it more. But we will be back. Thank you for pleasurable stay. You will see us again.

Third time visit. Great place for our 3 day stay with the kids. Spacious units. Love the pools and tennis court and closeness to the beach. Secluded and quiet. Not far to walk to local fish & chip shop, chinese restaurant & small supermarket, bottle-o & tavern.

My son and I hosted our combined 18th and 50th here recently and Terry could not have been more helpful. We had a large gathering with a combined total of approximately 80 adults, young adults and kids. Everyone had a fantastic night.
We self catered with the assistance of Izzy's woodfire pizzas and accommodating their pizza van was also no problem for Terry.
Staff were super helpful, and although my family and friends did a superb job of cleaning up, I think they possibly cleaned up some of what we missed.

I personally recommend the Shores Holiday Apartment for your next visit to Mackay. Everything was accessible, nice very clean villas, personally from me i give a 10/10. The thing that made my stay good was the feeling i got when we first arrived, we were welcomed with a friendly smile. Definitly going back already planned another visit for 2021 and for a longer stag this time. 🙂

Beautiful clean spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great location right on the beach with pool area, BBQ area undercover, tennis/basketball court and large lawn area for kicking a footy. Great staff. Thankyou - will definitely try to book again next time

Great place to stay with family, everything that’s needed was in the villa we stayed in, very comfortable. Pools great for adults n kids, the beach out front is beautiful. Definitely recommend the shores for accomodation. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed here for one night in a beach front villa. It was fantastic! Uninterrupted walk to a practically deserted beach, 2 pools, large bbq area, tennis court, volleyball court. Clean and spacious units, pay tv, for our family of four it was paradise in mackay. We’ve already booked a longer stay for Christmas

Great accommodation - was clean, large, air conditioned, comfortable and had a huge TV. Friendly manager helped when needed. Will definitely stay again .

Located right next to the beach and multiple restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Rooms were well furnished and clean. Overall no complaints, would recommend.

Kerryn and Peter are amazing. The rooms are clean and you are right on the beach. The amenities are fabulous and it really is an oasis away from the city. So very relaxing
