FIRST EDITION CANBERRA

Last night was our daughters 20th birthday and First Edition surprised my daughter with a lava cake. It was very sweet and thoughtful of them.
The food was fantastic and cocktail’s delicious. Such a nice atmosphere with great view over the street. Will definitely be back.

The booking process was easy as it’s all done online. The food was delicious. The venue was clean. The night view was great. The only suggestion I have is to possibly leave a bigger gap between the tables. I really didn’t like sitting so close to other people and watching each other eat. Definitely recommend.

We had booked 30 dinner, Canberra platers for entree- Vegetables were fresh tasted so good. Had Alternative drop chicken and lamb was really really good. Vegetables were done with perfection and the sauce was perfect. Meat was tender and moist. Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience! A group of 8 of us went for the Giggly High Tea. Loved the quirky teapot cocktails and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and service was perfect. Only suggestion would be for more savoury options but everything provided was just lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience. Having previously worked in hospitality ourselves, the exceptional customer service provided by our waitress Teagan, stood out to us both and we passed on our thoughts and expressed our appreciation to her.
We look forward to visiting again in 6 weeks time!

My friend & I both enjoyed dinner & breakfast during our 2 day stay in the hotel. Both meals were excellent. We only had contact with staff members during dinner but both were welcoming, polite & helpful.

Had the pleasure of tasting First Edition's new Autumn menu, it was delectable! I love Asian inspired food, bao is my weakness. I loved that they had a range pescatarian & vegetarian options! Would definitely dine here again!

Recently came here for dinner and the whole experience was very enjoyable. The cocktails were on point, service was awesome and the food was delicious. Kudos to the chef and a massive shoutout to Jay who took great care of us. We will definitely be back!

Great service - amazing food.
We loved our evening at First Edition. The staff were all knowledgeable and anticipated exactly what was needed throughout the 4 courses. The freshly made pasta was presented to the table on an aged cheese wheel of Grand Padano. It was delicious! This was followed by a delicately flavoured beautifully presented snapper dish. For mains we had the lamb which was amazing. It was melt in your mouth tender. Lastly, the flaming crème brûlée which was entertaining and also yummy. Overall a great experience. Thank you to the staff, you were awesome.

Very enjoyable dinner. Our Steak was cooked to perfection (Medium Rare) and served with a beautiful mash potato and choice of sauce! Absolutely delicious. We are Accor Plus members and enjoyed 50 percent off our meal!

The Pepperoni Pizza was out of the world !!

Sensational , tasty food with impeccable service at this restaurant in the Novotel Canberra. The meat tasting board and the main meals of duck and the 300 gram pork cutlet were sensational. Highly recommended going back again as it was a lovely dining experience.

First Edition Restaurant is located in Novotel Canberra and is surrounded by fancy restaurants. Apart from its location, First Edition is a beautiful restaurant with very delicious food and great service staff.

Jai was our waiter and made our family's night with his infectious personality and his care. The Cowra Lamb Rump, Duck Croustillante, and Warm Chocolate Fondant were cooked the perfection and were flavoursome.

My husband and I visited tonight for dinner on our last night in Canberra. Wish we had come here earlier! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was even better! Jay was so welcoming and helpful, and will be a big reason for our return next time we are in Canberra. What an asset he is to First Edition.
In terms of the food, it was full of flavour and a big portion size, for an excellent price.
Would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

We visited for a birthday party. The staff were friendly and accommodating and let us put up decorations at the table and also bring our own cake. The tables are well spaced. Variety of meals and good choice for kids. Expansive drinks menu including a good list of local wines.
