Loved the friendly owners and the views and being able to sit in nature and off the beaten track- no cars driving past!

Fantastic coffee to start a tour of the site and surrounds. Wonderful views and a joy that the site has been successfully re-developed. Dog-friendly cafe, wheel-chair accessible, good menu, indoor and outdoor seating options, easy car-parking, lots to see and do. Make sure you check out the gorgeous chooks that are just near the cafe.

Great little hidden away cafe! We bought some take away bacon and egg sandwiches from here so that we could have a bit of an impromptu picnic at the Balls Head reserve. Excellent sandwich and a great atmosphere. Will be back to eat in soon.

Cheese and Wine? They have other food as well! A great lunch place. Enjoy lovely views of Balmain across the harbour and Greenwich point across the bay, they close around 3pm so don’t leave it too late.

Quite spot for a great breakfast or lunch. Enjoy a nearby bush walk trail overlooking the harbour.

A wonderful example of when the built environment can work to sooth the soul. An ex industrial site reclaimed and brings a certain magic to the all ready marvellous harbour setting .Architecture often talks of echoing the past to bring in the future but often just a sales pitch. This is an excellent example of when it works.Visit the tunnel below at night when raining to see a scene from a album cover of a band you nearly know.

Just came to Ball's Head for a walk and stumbled across this cafe. After wandering around and seeing all the fresh produce growing in the property, I couldn't resist having a brunch here. Had the veggie frittata with salad and it was delicious! Coffee was perfect too!

I got coffee from here served using adore coffeebeans and some basic food. It was early and I got great service. Green canteen is also used here if you have the app and you can swap your old green cup for a new one. It is useful if you purchase coffee more frequently with the green canteen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch at this cafe. The experience was lovely because of the very helpful and attentive staff; they took the time to cater for some food intolerances we had, and were quite flexible with the menu.
Food was served quickly, and one staff member was kind enough to give me a heads-up when the food was almost ready to be served, as I was away from the table entertaining my 2yr old.
Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Decent coffee. And good food. Kids menu had a fair few options.

Staff very friendly and very satisfied with the Big Breakfast. Kids very happy with the cheesy toasts and babycino. Nice coffee and environment. Will be back more often.

Fantastic atmosphere; very friendly and considerate service and the location is fabulous. Love their philosophy around sustainability and you can enjoy water views and see all the home grown goodies around the cafe. Staff are awesome and happy to accommodate every type of lifestyle choice. Relaxed, easy going and you can have a great conversation as music is very easy on the ears.

Awesome little spot nestled in Waverton. One of my favourite breakfast places. If you do head there yourself, the bacon and egg roll is awesome, highly recommend that you get the house made lime aioli on it. Coffee is very good and the staff are friendly.
