Waverton Friendly Grocer

Our very own local heaven! So far whatever I needed, I have found there. The staffs are amazing and always ready to help out.

From the outside it looks like a tiny store but upon entering you will find a vast array of aisles with everything you may require as well as a variety of specialist items, an owner and staff who always make you feel like family. Fantastic old fashioned service an excellent variety of produce and great prices. Highly, highly recommended.

This store is amazing and so is the family that runs it. They have been exceptional in this trying time too, making sure that people keep their social distance. It is a small store so they have gone over and above making sure only 5 people in at a time and even have someone monitoring the line. They have stayed calm and remained kind through the whole process and I feel lucky to have them so close to me in this time of need.

This store also always has an amazing and tasty selection of gluten free items and pasta, which I hard to find sometimes in this city. High quality meat too from a butcher in Lanecove. Would highly recommend shopping here and supporting small business instead of a big corporation like woolies.

Unbelievable selection of food and groceries in such a small shop.
It has all we need from dairy, fruit, vegetable, canned food and even a lot of stuff you would only find in a hardware shop. Great selection of readymade meals and frozen food, too.
This family run business also provides a very personal and friendly service. I guess that's why they call themselves the Friendly Grocer. Right next door to Friendlyware Partners.

Awesome place albeit a little pricey... You can get specials here! Very friendly family run business who take customer's interests, inquiries and feedback seriously and are super focused on your needs.
Many vegan and alternative options are available here which is rare for such a small grocery store.

This family run business offers long operating hours and they also operate over public holidays.
Their customer service is excellent. They are helpful and friendly and if they haven't got what you want in stock they pull out all the stops to get it for you.

Great little shop. Friendly, helpful staff. Has a great range of stock - fresh fruit & veg, milk, bread, deli meats, cheese, ice cream, toilet paper, chocolate, almost anything you might want.

We are grateful to have Steve and Voula and their family running the best local grocery store that I know of. They do a great job with long hours and deserve our thanks for their part in making life in Waverton wonderful!!

Very friendly and super convenient little supermarket - they fit an incredible range of fresh produce and items in and it's mostly good quality and reasonably priced considering its only a small neighbourhood store. Nice staff too.

Fresh fruit and veg, way better than the big supermarkets, very friendly and helpful owners, and a great place to find unexpected deli items and things that you really shouldn't buy...but you do!
