Deco Cafe & Eatery

They serve the best coffee I've ever had during my vacation in Sydney. They have a good selection of sandwiches. We had turkey and brie and the Big Breakfast (eggs, sausage, mushroom, sourdough bread, bacon)

Great coffee, great food and friendly staff. They have books available to go with your coffee. Really nice decor too!

Stumbled unto this place as a total accident.got off the train and this was literally the second restaurant we entered.

Was in the mood for sandwiches that day and had it not been for the waitress who was so friendly and explained which sandwich was which (she was just about to label the sandwiches as i browsed the chiller) i wouldve probably not decided to eat here

Place was rather dark but cozy enough. Stayed there for maybe an hour and a half reading the paper and passing the time

Coffee was great, and apparently that brand (adore) is served in other coffee shops, not just in decco.when the coffee was finished, the cup had a delightful note at the bottom saying "have another?"

Big breakfast was also nice

Lastly, and i dont know if this indicates anything really, but a stream of construction workers came in and had their breakfast there too. If a lot of people in the general area come in (and not to some other option around the area) the place must have something going for it.im guessing its the combination of convenience, cozy ambience and friendly price

Overall the place is competetively priced, has nice interiors, good food and good coffee. Staff are friendly too

Surprisingly large meal for a reasonable price. Tasted delicious too.

Really nice staff and coffee .. pretty little setting

The food was very nice and had large serves. I had the big breakfast and my wife had the salmon. The big breakfast was a nontraditional selection but worked well and didn't need any sauce to moisten it. I thought the coffee was fine but my wife who's more of a coffee connoisseur wasn't super impressed. The staff were friendly. There were no highchairs provided.

Just downed the eggs florentine minus the holindaise and they were awesome. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the toast fresh and the spinach flavorsome. The only only disappointment was that there was no smoked salmon. :( Will definitely be returning asap. :)
